I absolutely love this hometown staple that’s been around since 1950. They make it the old fashioned way and it’s all delectable, and I’ve experienced about half the menu over the years. You can’t go wrong here, and the hometown feel is thick, so if you’re into that then you’ll feel right at home here.

Meloni’s is an old reliable place. Food is always good and plentiful. Had veal parm, which was a large enough serving time bring about half home. Atmosphere hasn’t changed in forever, but that it a part of it’s charm. Great place to sit down with friends and family for an enjoyable meal.

Maloney’s Restaurant located at 643 Morgantown Road, Uniontown, Pennsylvania is one of those places that immediately feels comfortable and welcoming when you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, which always makes a dining experience better.

We started with the calamari, and it was very good. It was cooked just right, tender on the inside with a light, crisp coating that was not greasy. It was flavorful and a great way to begin the meal. For my entree, I ordered the chicken parmesan with angel hair pasta, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, topped with melted cheese and a rich, comforting sauce. The angel hair pasta was light, not overcooked, and paired really well with the chicken.

The dining area was clean and well kept, with a laid back feel that makes it a great spot for a casual meal. Overall, Maloney’s Restaurant is a solid local favorite with good food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again.

If there was a number higher than five stars I would give it. I was working near Uniontown this past weekend and after a long day of work I googled “best spaghetti” and it led me to Meloni’s. That is no joke! I had the eggplant parmesan with angel hair pasta, the homemade red sauce, and a meatball. Every last bite was good, including the simple bread and side salad that came ahead of my meal. Every detail in this restaurant gives you the sense of how much everyone working there cares about the food and their community. I am so glad that random chance led me to this great restaurant and I will absolutely be making a special trip back!

If you’re looking for old-school Italian-American dining, Meloni’s is the place. Their red sauce has that comforting homemade taste, and the portions are generous. I had the baked ziti and my friend tried the veal parmesan — both were delicious. The decor is simple and the vibe is family-friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Will definitely return.

We were driving through the area and smelled the aroma of garlic bread, so we had to stop and check it out. It was the best garlic bread and homemade marinara we’ve had in a long time! The atmosphere is classic Italian American. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. We will definitely stop again the next time we’re in the area.

Good service from friendly wait staff. Food was okay. We had Chicken Caesar Salads which had tasty chicken, but the salad itself was underwhelming. The location is convenient, there were plenty of tables (on a weekday at lunch), and food came quickly. Overall, this place seemed tired which is why it gets a rating of 4.

Wow, just wow. Where do I start?

The tomato cream sauce (their red sauce mixed with their alfredo) had my eyes rolling back into my head. I had it with the spaghetti and meatballs for something a little different than I usually get at Italian restaurants.

The chicken romano was great as well, but not quite as good. The exterior breading was very tasty, but the chicken itself was too bland once you got past that outer layer. I think it would better if they marinated it in something so that the actual chicken has some flavor. I will say that it was perfectly cooked and juicy, though.

The plain red sauce I got with my side of rigatoni was also very nice. It wasn’t too watery and had depth, unlike some other places I’ve ate at. I’m used to having to smother my pasta in cheese to get that “je ne sais quoi”, but I barely used any here. Can’t complain about the garlic toast, either.

The service was about average; it was neither overly good nor shockingly bad. Our waitress had a bit of RBF and didn’t seem too thrilled to be there. Everything was correct with the order and she answered all the questions we had, so she did her job just fine, but nothing beyond that.

The place is a bit dated but it doesn’t matter as much because the food absolutely hits. They could have served me that food in a basement and it probably still would’ve smacked. The bathroom was well-kept as well.

Oh, and I ate everything in the picture minus some of the garlic bread because only half was mine. 😉

Update:

Had to visit again! I got the alfredo this time and it was really good; the little herby additions were a nice compliment to the sauce. I recommend trying it with meatballs and sausage. Our server – Megan – was great and she provided perfect recommendations.

This was an established Italian restaurant with a simple dining room. Our party of 6 was comfortable and our server was friendly. The food was to die for!! I had the shrimp Alfredo, but others in our party had the prime rib and there wasn’t a negative comment to be had!

Long wait for a table. From time we entered the restaurant and received our entrees about an hour passed. The bread served was like Italian loaf bread. Plain, not a fresh bake. I had the eggplant parmesan, which did not have a lot of parmesan. I felt the sauce was a little heavy on salt. Hubby’s and MIL had the veal. They both complained that it was overcooked, stringy and a lot of gristle. Our waitress was good at refilling my water. The restaurant seems a bit dated as well. Sorry I couldn’t give a better rating.
