Not very welcoming, but hey that happens. Next came food, if fried food outta fryer itself it will be good and fresh. I ordered what was suppose to be fried potatoes and their temp was as if it was right out the fridge. Macaroni was barely warm and bland. Like I stated though anything fried in fryer isself great and hot. I wouldn’t recommend sadly.

Ordered 8 piece shrimp, got 6 piece brought to me. When I asked about the other 2 I was told all they had was 6. This was after being waited on by a young girl chewing food as she spoke to me. Terrible customer service here!!

First of all, the staff member looked at me like I had three horns coming out of my head when I first walked into the door. No greeting, just weird stares. The food was bland and tasteless, requiring a great deal of seasoning to even get it down. The locals seem to like it, but I did not see many options in town besides Mexican food. We try to eat local when we travel, sometimes that is hit and miss. This didn’t pan out so well. However this is not my first rodeo and sometimes a smile and friendly banter will make a place seem more pleasant. If you are not a local or a BIPOC passing through town I would just stay away. You might do better at the McDonald’s up the street. Hope is a very cute town though.

Delicious fried chicken! The turnip greens and mashed potatoes were very flavorful. The service is even better than the food… If I lived near here, I would definitely be a regular.

Great place for the whole family. I like the unusual method they have to order your food; it really cuts down on mistakes.

A cross between restaurant and cafeteria. Each day they change the menu. You check boxes off on a menu paper with your table number. Most of the food has that “home cooked” taste. We enjoy eating there and try to go after the lunch rush but, before they close at 2 pm.

Love this place, love their services food and their prices. I simply call my order in, 10 minute or so i walk out the door with hot food. Mow that’s worth a tip.

Friendly staff, good fried chicken, onion rings, fries, peas, turnip greens, patty melt, mashed tatoes, green beans, but the chicken fried steak a bit thin and tough. We would go back though.
