This so-called “resturant” has zero regards/concerns for the safety of their customers. The most disgusting thing that has happened to my bf and I. We ordered 3 burritos to-go, we picked it up and when we got home, we discovered there was an extra “suprise” in the bag. It was someone else’s old, unfinished burrito with some old dried up salsa! YUCK! We were in total shock as this has never happened to us nor have we ever heard of this happening to anyone we know. Needless to say we immediately threw the whole order in the trash (waste of $50), and I called the place immediately. Instead of genuinely showing any concern or trying to hear me out, the woman I spoke with immediately denied it, saying, “I know there was nothing in there, I bagged the order”, basically called me a liar. I told her the burrito is sitting right in front of my eyes right now and I have nothing to gain from accusing her of this. I didn’t even ask for a refund, I was genuinely curious as to how someone else’s trash ended up in my bag. This is a food safety violation and very poor food handling. God knows what else is going on in the kitchen. Her poor service, poor hygiene, and poor attitude definitely speaks volumes as to what kind of “buisness” they are really running here. She then finally apologized after trying to gaslight me and told me I could bring the food back to get a remake. Uh, no thanks, I don’t ever want eat anything from this place again. Her lack of concern said enough and I don’t trust them to handle my food. I worked in resturants all my life and never have I witnessed something so disgusting and negligent. We supported their business for a couple of years, being I am a local in the area. Very disappointing that this was how we were treated and for the whole experience.
As my uncle/Godfather owned Cooper Motors which is 1½ block away from Melo Burger (Cooper Motors at: 4600- Century Blvd.,Inglewood, California is/was an Independent Mercedes and BMW repair shop established in 1980’s ) I would frequently pass along Century Blvd. and at times wanted something to eat that was close enough to Cooper Motors, Inc because as a young teen I worked at Cooper Motors during the Summer and later became a service manager then also ran the entire business and supervised the mechanics on duty while ordering all of our parts from W.I. Simmonson Mercedes Dealership in Santa Monica and dealing with customers who were having their Mercedes serviced or repaired..
I even handed the late Jerry Buss Lakers owners daughters Mercedes. Jeanie Buss I would drop her off at The Great Western Forum at The Forum Club entrance and return to Cooper Motors in order to have the mechanics service her drop top convertible Mercedes then return her vehicle to the Forum staff before lunch time.
Well after all the nostalgic and good memories..
I recently was in the area and was about to catch a flight out of LAX International Airport and saw that nothing else was open but Melo Burger ( they are open 24 hours 24/7). So I gave it a shot!!
OMG …it was good and decent food… all these years and I never bothered because it didn’t appear to have decent food plus back then the area was kinda watch your back, but since then they have cleared up the area from sketchy thugs and prostitution running rampant on Century Blvd.
The area is now safe because of the Sofi Stadium and they can’t have the fans who travel into the Inglewood area for concerts, basketball and NFL games to be intimated or unsafe. It’s totally safe now… Of course crime can happen anywhere even Beverly Hills but with that said… Go check out Melo Burger you won’t be disappointed..
I hate I slept on them and was foot steps away when I ran & operated Cooper Motors for my uncle/Godfather Glen Cooper ( owner/founder of Cooper Motors, Inc.).
Melo Burger is good!

Ate here for the first time only to be completely disgusted. I ordered asada fries, and it was a little bland, so I put the guacamole that they gave me all over them, and the guacamole smelled like a barn! It sounds weird I know, but I googled it, and thats a sign of rotten avocados. I tried tasting it out of confusion, and it tasted rancid. Made the whole meal inedible, and was a complete waste of money.
It’s nice and clean, but as far as I can see, only outdoor seating is available. And no public restroom.
The food is really good. I like the Carne Asada Nachos. They put a little kick in it. And have a large variety of shakes and smoothies which are always thick and delicious.
