My wife and I were down for the July 4th weekend. We had eaten at this location twice, but indoors. We sat on the patio on a windy and rainy day. It was still beautiful. The food was out of bounds, sick, fire, and cool. You get my drift! The pizza was amazing, but the Greek salad with Esperanza dressing was perfection.

We had an issue last night while there were I found a small plastic piece in my sandwich. Stuff like this happens! I’m fine, everyone is fine! The waitress and manager were so nice and apologetic! I let them know it absolutely was not a big deal, I just wanted them to know to keep an eye on it bc maybe someone in the kitchen knew where that piece could have came from. Again, the waitress was AMAZING and the manager was OUTSTANDING.

Our pretzel bites were dough fried. Our pizza was so greasy we couldn’t bring it home. Our calzone was cold in the middle. We waited a long time. The bathroom was not clean. We spent over 200 for our party. Would not recommend it.

We have visited Mellow Mushrooms all over the country and were never impressed. However, this location and the location downtown have changed our minds!! The pizza was absolutely amazing! So much so that we drove an hour to get it! Whatever you’re doing at these locations, keep it up!!

I had the absolute best experience at the Yellow Mushroom located in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. My server, JT, provided exceptional service and professionalism from start to finish. The food was cooked perfectly thanks to Ethan, who truly knows what he’s doing in the kitchen. I just moved to Wilmington a few days ago, and this experience made me feel right at home. JT made sure everything was on point, and I can honestly say he’s definitely my dogg! I’ll absolutely be back again and again.

This was a great place to eat while staying at the beach for a week. Our server was very attentive and helpful. This was my first experience at a Mellow Mushroom. I got The Elevated Cobb, it was really good and the chicken is as good as it says it is. My boyfriend got The Italian Hoagie and he said it was delicious! And I had to agree. My boyfriend got the Yellow Submarine mixed drink and it was made perfectly. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. We also had a sugar cookie and peanut butter cookie. The sugar cookie was so good. We will definitely be back when we go to Wrightsville beach again.

Even though we are doing a low carb diet right now, we were able to enjoy an amazing dinner at Mellow Mushroom! I had build your own salad with apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes with oil and vinegar dressing. The wings were super cheap and delicious naked baked with buffalo sauce on the side. My daughter had the kids French bread pizza kid’s meal and she gave two thumbs up on hers as well!
The bartender was also able to make us skinny margaritas with only the natural sugars from lemon and lime! They were amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic! We will definitely be back again and again!

Huge fan of mellow mushroom here, stopped by this spot for lunch after the beach. Very quaint, I love how each location adjusts for the vibe of the surrounding neighborhood :). Food was excellent, absolutely LOVE the cloud 9 wings (they melt in your mouth), the only small issue was service.
There was maybe 2 other tables being used when we arrived. I placed my drink order and an order for some wings right when we sat down- 10 minutes later food order is placed. Somehow, people came in after us, were seated, and started receiving food before us. I’m sitting there starving wondering what’s going on, and our server comes up and asks if we wanted any appetizers. I looked her straight in the eye and asked her what she considered our wing order to be? Somehow she said she made this an entree, and it would be coming out with the pizza we ordered. Mind you, if I wasn’t starving this wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but going on 30 minutes sitting, watching people who came in well after us get food before us was not okay.
The server apologized sure, but I just can’t wrap my head around how braindead of a move it is to put a drink and wing order in as an entree when, without saying, it’s obviously not.
Aside from this experience, everything was awesome.

We’re on a family roadtrip and stopped at this establishment for a late lunch.
It was BEYOND what we expected and was SO STINKING GOOD!! The dough is perfect, the flavors were great, our two girls ate all of their food- we left fat and happy. (And we all ate for less than $60; a family of four.)
