For a chain restaurant this place is above average. The food was decent. Personally, I thought my son’s pizza was a little on the bland side, but still good. The vegan sub I got was also good. Not great, but worth the price.

So glad we happened upon this Mellow Mushroom in Short Pump. The customer service was great from the greeting to dessert. We loved the light of the open floor plan. You have to try the Esperanza dressing on a salad and the House Specialty pizza was the best! The key lime ice cream sandwich was the grand finale.

For a chain restaurant it’s fine. I thought the dough was a little too soft and chewy for the Northeast coast NY style I’m accustomed too. Its what you’d think a chain restaurant pizza would be like unfortunately. The staff was super friendly and the place had a good vibe.

Great option for quick takeout, especially when you just want a “different” pizza than the usual. No one does pizza dough quite like MM, and their menu of specialties really covers the gamut of pizza possibilities. Holy Shiitake really hits the spot and lives up to the name…I can’t think of a more flavorful mushroom pizza.

My family enjoyed everything about our experience at the Mellow Mushroom in Short Pump! We did not encounter a wait to be seated. Probably due to good timing. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive without interrupting our meal and conversation. The food was fantastic. Everything was at a great temperature and looked beautiful. Already looking forward to returning.

This was the best experience I have ever had. I really loved the waitstaff and the cook was a pro. Sid has a great team working for him and they should all pat themselves on the back. I have never been here before and I will def be spreading the word that this is the place to be.

Super cool place with a great vibe. Service was very helpful and kind. The best part of the pizza has to be the crust! Great lunch specials with a slice, salad and drink. Had the Buffalo chicken. It was ok. Not my most favorite but it was good. If I go back I’d like to try some other options!

Fun and casual atmosphere. Mellow has the best pizza in the area by far, and lots of local beers and tasty cocktails too! The bartender Sarah made our girls night a blast:) They also offer a happy hour including $4 pints every Thursday. I will definitely be back very soon!

Absolutely one of Richmond’s best pizzas. Excellent menu of drinks and appetizers. Comfortable booths and tables. Great service. Parking can be a challenge, but your patience will be rewarded (they are popular for a reason!).

First time there, and the food was delicious. I got the potato pizza, and it did not disappoint! The peach fuzz drink needs more peach or something to make the taste pop more. Wasn’t very peachy for a drink called peach fuzz. It was good, just needed a little more peach. My friend was disappointed that her Greek salad didn’t come with actual Greek dressing for the Greek salad. They tried to give her basalmic instead, and then some Caesar blend calling it what they consider Greek.
