Mellow Mushroom is an excellent place to get some delicious pizza and a refreshing beer on the tap.
We had the Holy Shiitake pizza and it did not disappoint: the vegan cheese was cheesy and stretchy without being gummy and sticky, and the grilled shiitake had the texture and chewiness of steak (I think!). The crust was light and crispy and chewy, all just the right amount. The wine thing was super tasty.
We also had the “cheesy” bread appetizer – personally, I did not care for it. It tasted too much like school cafeteria food to me, but it was a success with everyone else at the table, so it must have been just me.
The atmosphere is kind of funky with big art deco pictures and murals. I like that the dining area is big and airy room so everyone is not stuffed in their elbow to elbow.

I love the vibe of this place! Beautiful artwork on the walls.
The service was top notch and their food is delicious. They put parmesan on their pretzel bites, so good! I also had a calzone, it was very tasty and very cheesy. 🙂

I heard a radio personality bragging about the wonderful pizza he found in Rocky River. It was a mushroom pizza. My wife loves mushrooms. So we drove 1 hour 45 minutes to the Mellow Mushroom to have one. We loved it! The service was great and the atmosphere was great too. We ordered some wings, just in case…the wings were the best we ever had. We will definitely return.

Mello Mushroom is the best pizza I ate since relocating to the west side and I’ve tried countless pizza restaurants on the west. The slices are large; dough is airy and chewy. The crust is the best part , saved for last and dip in marinara or ranch. I knew this pizza was going to be delicious when I saw the pics on their site. The wings were great, flavor throughout not just sauced. Most places fry the wings from a frozen state and do not season, not here they’re seasoned and not overly done the ranch or whichever sauce you choose is an bonus. A tad pricy but definitely worth it. Great job!

Their pizza is like no other! The price is worth the flavor and the effort put into their pizzas. The service is always good and the overall atmosphere of this place is unmatched. Love the unique art, you can tell someone put a lot of creativity and thought into the space. We have been here numerous times- our first visit to Mellow Mushroom was actually in Gatlinburg, TN. So when we found out there was one in Rocky River, we were very pleasantly surprised! We will be back!

We went to a Mellow Mushroom in NC and really enjoyed it. So when we realized there is one in Rocky River we just had to go. It did not disappoint. The crust is delicious. I will say, for me the pizza was even better the second day. I like my pizza almost burnt and crispy, so 5 minutes in the air fryer the next day was perfect.

I just moved to Ohio recently from Florida and i used to go to the Mellow Mushrooms in Florida all the time so me and my boyfriend drove an hour (Rocky River is the closest one too us) to this location for our anniversary. The food was honestly way way better than I remember it being and our server Jordan was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and friendly and overall just made our experience so good! She alone made the hour drive worth it!!

Came here a few weeks ago before a show. Had the pleasure of sitting on the patio during a beautiful day. Our waitress was a sweetheart. The food was all soooooo good! My friend is vegetarian and loved all the available options! Definitely plan on going back and trying more food!

Better pizza at whole foods down the street. Service is kinda slow as it seems one server lords over others. But the worst is their water. Its really really bad. The server told me it was tap water. But if thats this towns tap water everyone would move. This water was so bad it reminded me of the first sips off a warm garden hose who’s water had been sitting inside the hose all winter long.
Avoid this place, thank me later.
The pizza, as I said is better at the prep food section of whole foods, probably hotter too.
Nobody working here seemed happy to be there. So I imagine the real issue is with the management.
One odd, off brand thing, at the entry is a chucky statue with toothpicks. Odd choice of decore, certainly not kid friendly but gore in a food establishment is off-putting
