Mellow Mushroom on Pike Road delivers a top-tier casual dining experience that’s hard to beat. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and vibrant energy set the tone for a great evening. We chose to sit at the bar, where we were fortunate to be served by Kerry—his attentive, friendly service truly elevated the experience.
We started with the fresh-baked pretzels paired with beer cheese, which were warm, soft, and bursting with flavor—the perfect appetizer. For our main course, we ordered a thin crust pizza loaded with extra cheese and pepperoni. It arrived piping hot with a perfectly crisp crust, gooey cheese, and generous toppings. Each bite was a reminder of why Mellow Mushroom has such a loyal following.
The beer selection was excellent, and ours arrived perfectly chilled. Between the quality of the food, the relaxed vibe, and Kerry’s standout service, this visit was a home run. We’ll absolutely be back for more.

Our Mellow Mushrooms in Houston closed so we stop by to get our fix whenever we can.
Food was great (pretzels, Funky Q, Maui Wowie) and the employees were very friendly and got our food out in the appropriate amount of time.

Mellow Mushroom Pike Road just wow!
This has been one of my family’s favorite pizza place since we first tried it. The staff are incredibly kind and always take care of their customers. One time there was an accident with our order pork and onions ended up on our pizza even though we asked for none but they handled it beautifully. They replaced it right away and even gave us a gift card!
The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Buffalo pizza (ask for ranch if you don’t like it spicy) and the truffle oil with mushrooms pizza it’s a must! And DO NOT forget to try their wings, especially the garlic parmesan ones.
They genuinely make every visit amazing.

The pizza here is delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a great crust. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a fantastic spot to dine in. I ordered the Mighty Meaty in medium, and it’s a hearty option—easily enough to feed a family of four or satisfy one very hungry person. Highly recommend for a tasty, filling meal!

We were on a day trip and stopped for dinner with our two pups on the way back home to Florida. I was greeted by Taryn who was more than happy to dry the tables and chairs on the patio for us and turn on the heaters. She was super accommodating! Shanan took great care of us during the meal. The manager made sure that the hamburger patties we ordered for the pups were perfect. We love choosing Mellow Mushroom when we travel because the food and service is always great. This location lived up and exceeded our expectations of the brand. Thank you for an awesome dinner!

This was my first time at this location. I have eaten at the downtown location which has since closed down. We arrived right when the restaurant opened at 11 and were seated immediately. I don’t think the waitress ever stated her name.
I ordered the spinach artichoke dip, a medium great White Pizza, and a strawberry lemon limeade. The food was made promptly and everything was nice and hot. The everything tasted amazing! No complaints. My food totaled $36. So you definitely get your moneies worth. The TVs were showing basketball because it’s March madness of course! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. It is a family friendly place.

We stopped here for dinner otw home from Tuscaloosa to Georgia. This location was very quiet for 8pm on a Saturday but the food was on point and the server was friendly and attentive. We ordered rolls as an appetizer and two pizzas. The crust and rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
