We went here on a lark, ordered from the car, and the. sat at the bar while we waited for the food to be ready.
Bartender was kind enough to get our food while we finished our beers. Went a long way. We had a really good time.

The wife was craving pizza so stopped at the Mellow Mushroom as who wants Pizza Hut, Domino’s or little Caesars anymore? She had also had pizza from Mellow at the office recently for the first time and really like it.
We created our own and it was a good pizza with a great crust. Highly recommend it.

I’ve been to a few different branches of this place in different cities, and it’s always solid.
The Spot:
Super cozy and chill—great for hanging out with friends or bringing the fam. They’ve got big tables too, so it’s perfect for groups.
The Pizza:
We got a large pizza split between Holy Shiitake and Great White. Both were really good! The edge was thick and super tasty. We were definitely happy with our choice.

It usually takes about 20 minutes to get the pizza, no matter which location I go to. The staff is always friendly and nice.
️ Parking: Plenty of Parking lots.
Overall:
The pizza might not be life-changing, but it’s definitely really good. I’d totally recommend checking this place out!

We had a large party but it took an excessively long time for some members of the party to get any food. Some of us got fast service, while others took 30-45 minutes to get any food. One member got his food order twice, while another hadn’t received any food! It was crazy. Long wait for mediocre pizza, and wings in my opinion.

Very friendly staff and mellow mushroom quality through and through also not sure if anybody knows this but there are local items in mellow mushroom that is only for specific areas which is genius in my opinion it keeps it fresh depending on the area that you go to. This Mellow Mushroom on this particular location is really nice! The ambiance inside is very roomy and relaxed. Perfect place to go after a day is sightseeing. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodated all of our needs. One of the best Mellow Mushrooms we have been at! And yes we always visit this restaurant every time we travel.

The Strawberry Shakedown is absolutely delicious and refreshing — hands down my favorite drink! And of course, you can never go wrong with the wings and pepperoni rolls. Always fresh, always flavorful.

I had a fantastic experience at Mellow Mushroom in North Charleston. The place was packed, which was a clear sign I had chosen the right spot! While there was a 40-minute wait for a table, I lucked out with a seat at the bar and was able to order quickly.
I tried the House Special Pizza and a Caesar salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, perfectly baked, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was crisp and flavorful, a great complement to the pizza.

I’ve been here a few times before and it’s been a good experience each time but DEFINITELY want to give a big appreciative shoutout to Kristina. Our association came in for our 1st networking lunch event of the year and Kristina was amazing with us. We were 26 people and she served all of our food and drinks by herself, handled some miscommunication our part with some orders, gave each person her specific time and gave suggestions or answers without rushing us or looking panicked. She remembered what we drank, asked how the food tasted and if we needed anything. Food tasted amazing and was hot. Some of our ladies had never been there before pretty sure ya’ll got some new customers (saw some good eye popping when they tried their food haha). Kudos to the whole staff (cooks, SA’s) but a super duper kudos to Kristina! Thank you for a great lunch yesterday!!!

We ordered $91 worth of food last night to go and it was AWFUL!!!! My sons pizza was burnt chewy and tasted old, husbands was supposed to have jerk chicken and as you can clearly see it’s just plain chicken, my daughter ordered a salad NO mushrooms as she is highly allergic and it had mushrooms, and the spuds that came with the hamburgers were burnt and the burgers tasted like some kind of frozen hamburger that you would get from a hospital or school cafeteria and normally these are my absolute favorite burgers!!!!! And they said they were out of small dough, how does a pizza place that makes their own dough run out of dough?!!!!! I am absolutely appalled and disappointed and so angry that I spent all this money and the food was barely touched and the only reason it was even barely touched is because we were starving!!!!! I have NEVER had a bad experience at a mellow mushroom before and we have visited and eaten at dozens of these franchises over the years and this is literally the absolute worst experience I have ever had!!!!!
