Not sure if this is normal for an evening visit but I was not impressed at all. Highly disappointed with our service tonight vs our usual afternoon service.
Hopefully a manager or owner reads this review and takes action quickly.
Pricing was fair for the quality, and our food came out in a reasonable time. Parking was easy, which is always a bonus in Fort Worth.
We’d definitely return. A great spot for families, groups, or anyone who just wants good pizza and a laid-back atmosphere without the chaos.
The pizza is really good. I love their crust which is different from any other pizza I’ve had. It is a very hearty flavorful crust. The ingredients are fresh. Overall it is an amazing pie!
Service was top notch and atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend giving it a try.
I just had to share our fantastic experience at Mello Mushroom Pizza! Over the last month, we’ve become regulars, coming back every weekend, and it’s all thanks to our amazing server, Samantha. She is super attentive, always checking in on us, and she makes us feel like old friends every time we walk in.
Samantha’s friendly demeanor and genuine care for her guests truly enhance our dining experience. And the pizza? Absolutely incredible! Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection; each visit has been a delicious treat.
If you’re looking for a fantastic casual dining experience with top-notch service and mouth-watering pizza, Mello Mushroom is the place to be. We can’t wait for our next visit!
The appetizer came and unfortunately was mainly raw dough on the inside. Our waitress was great and immediately got us a new order along with a $5 discount for it. Our pizzas came out after about 30 min of waiting which is not a bad wait time. The buffalo pizza though had onions so they got us a replacement without them which extended the wait by about an additional 15 min. The food, once corrected, was great.
We asked for our bill to pay and noticed there was a $1.50 charge for ranch which we never got. No biggie and an easy correction our total bill was about $60, I added a picture of our bill for reference on what we ordered. Overall, I would say 3 stars but our server was absolutely wonderful.
We started off with Parmesan pretzels and then ordered our two favorites pizzas (Thai Dye & Funky Q Chicken). All were hot & tasty and we cleaned out plates.
The food was out in the appropriate amount of time and our server was friendly.
Thanks for a great visit!
Second – I was disappointed as I ordered the Veggie Pizza and paid for additional mushrooms and olives; however, there certainly was not extra of both. It was a sprinkle, not even 1 per slice on the small crust. There were not even 5 slices of olive = about 1 whole olive and less than 1/2 a mushroom. Once again, I even paid for Extra!
On a pizza that size there should be far more. So, paying the high cost of extra for both without receiving is an issue. Be cautious when adding toppings.
Also, they have toppings available but not when you order online.
Overall, I give 3 Stars because they have something I can eat with my allergies. However, the price point for such a small pizza when the toppings are miniscule is a huge deterrent. My bill for these two small pizzas was $40. I easily could a get Regular Large pizza equal to double for far less.
As someone who works in the food industry, the making things smaller just because it’s gluten free or other none SAD based foods plus charging a higher price is not appropriate.
First off, they have a good draft beer selection. I ordered the Bells Two Hearted IPA….not too hoppy and great taste. My girlfriend wanted something other than beer and ordered the Lavender Grove which was delicious! I got the first sip….yummy!!
We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer. Very creamy and good flavor.
Then, we ordered a large House Special pizza and it was delicious! This thing was loaded with toppings, crispy crust and nice n hot!
I was tempted on the meatball hoagie from a Google review picture, but we agreed to split a pizza. Maybe next time….
We ended up taking home the other half of the pizza. It reheats well in the oven. 425F for 10 minutes.
The restaurant was clean and so we’re the restrooms. That goes a long way with me. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was awesome! Short Hispanic lady that knows her job well.
I’ll definitely be back soon to explore the rest of the menu. If you are looking for great pizza, great beer and drinks or both, this place won’t disappoint.
