Everytime I order from here it’s always usually great. Except tonight. I placed a pickup order to go and ordered Thai wings, half an avocado sub, cheese calzone, and a steak calzone. Well my Thai wings were ICE cold, and my steak calzone had too many green peppers even though I asked for NONE. We asked for no green peppers and the calzone looks like it had extra.

We had a magical time with delicious food at Mellow Mushroom Acworth this week. It is Elf themed for Christmas and absolutely adorable. It really brings out the magic of the season. The pizza was delicious as always too! You need to go check it out.

My girlfriend and I had a great night at Mellow passing through town. Not familiar with the restaurant but had a great experience and were sat quickly. We loved the Funky Q and Maui Wowie. Props to our server Taylor for prompt service and recommendations on draft beers. Will be returning soon!

Mellow Mushroom hit a home run with a recent catering order for 20 people! The food was incredibly fresh and visually appealing, and I was especially impressed by the packaging—it was both efficient and environmentally friendly. They provided everything we needed, including plates, utensils, condiments, and serving supplies, making the setup seamless.
The nursing team we served was beyond impressed. Huge thanks to Kelly, Tianna, and the entire kitchen staff for their hard work and attention to detail. Mellow Mushroom is officially my “go-to” for catering to our affiliates. Highly recommend!

We had a late lunch on a Saturday, and it was great! Not at all crowded, but there were some people there. Our server Gracie was prompt and friendly. She brought me a refill without me having to ask for it! Always a sign of an attentive server. The pizza was excellent as always, perfectly cooked with a crispy crust. I have eaten at many Mellow Mushrooms, and Acworth is one of the best!

Never been to this location and it just wasnt good. The dough was so thick and chewy. We had the same exact pizza in a large and medium and they taste completely different. More crust than toppings. Usually you get a nice crisp on the crust. Just thick over worked chewy crust. Same for wife’s calzone. The pretsel bites were good but the cheese was cold and gritty.

My visit to Mellow Mushroom started promisingly. I began with the Enlightened Spinach Salad, which was excellent. The combination of dried cherries, apples, glazed pecans, and sheep’s milk feta was truly enjoyable.
Unfortunately, everything went downhill with the main course. My medium pepperoni pizza arrived not only misshapen (in an odd oval form) but also very poorly sliced. The cuts were incomplete, making it impossible to actually remove a slice.
When I brought this to the staff’s attention, the experience became frustrating. The bartender refused to provide a pizza wheel, insisting the pizza had to be taken back to the kitchen. After waiting at my table with no follow-up, I attempted to carry the scorching hot pan to them myself and burned my finger.
I then had to find my server to complain a second time, only to be met with a refusal to simply cut the pizza properly. In the end, I left without my meal. What began as a minor issue exposed a shocking lack of customer care and problem-solving from the team. Remember to bring your pizza wheel or go to one of the other many pizza establishments in the area.

Food is always consistently good. We had dinner on a Sunday evening and there was no wait. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Wait staff was prompt and quick with bringing out orders.

On a very busy night I was impressed with the service provided. We were seated to wait, and i saw one of the hostesses take care of her self very well and keep composure. Once we got seated our waiter was very kind, and hospitable. Would recommend this location.
