Another fantastic evening at Melissa’s. We ate here two years ago with friends; in town by ourselves we definitely wanted to dine here again. We ate here on Valentine’s day, and although reservations were recommended it wasn’t necessary this evening. We wife and I both opted for mango margaritas (very good) and the garlic mahi mahi (superb). The portions are quite large – we hadn’t opted for starters which is just as well. Our server Jorge was excellent – friendly, helpful and very attentive. A saxophone player was performing, which just added to the overall ambience of the evening (I believe his regular days are Wednesdays and Fridays). With dessert the bill came to just under $1000 MXP which I thought was excellent for the quality of the meal and service. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little unassuming rooftop restaurant with friendly staff, delicious food and a romantic atmosphere. We came here on a Wednesday evening on a recommendation from one of the hotel staff and were glad we did. Upon arriving we were asked if we had a reservation, we did not but were told it was not a problem. They had a saxophonist playing for tips (well worth it he was very talented and set the mood). Manuel was our server, he said his father works in the kitchen also which we loved, he helped us with our menu choices and was a great host. Thank you – We’ll be back!

One of the best meals I’ve had in years!! This place was recommended by one of our local guides. I’m so glad we tried it out. Lovely casual upscale dining, without feeling pretentious. Lovely sized dining room on an outdoor patio. We ate an early new years eve dinner here, and enjoyed a phenomenal guitar duo. They played Cuban music and one of the most beautiful versions of Como Quien Pierda Una Estrella that I have ever heard. The grilled mahi mahi was one of the best fish dishes I’ve eaten. The mojito was perfectly sweet and tangy. The service was warm and attentive. Other guests were good natured. Overall, probably my favorite eatery in PV. Also, they have a great happy hour advertised!

We absolutely loved Melissa’s! It’s a hidden gem in Puerto Vallarta with an amazing rooftop bar and a cozy local vibe. The seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful, everything tasted authentic and made with care. The service was excellent; everyone was so friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed dinner spot or a place to enjoy drinks with a view, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice seafood dinner at this friendly place . Their upstairs space is open , we sat a table can see the sea , and the super attentive staffs recommended me their garlic shrimps which were perfectly cooked !
The band also sang a nice song for us and it was appreciated as it was Chinese new year !

Diegos Bar Nightclub
First time and will not be our last time….tried the Guacamole and fresh and perfectly seasoned. Spinach salad was crisp. fresh cut mushrooms and appeared to be housemade blue cheese dressing. Margaritas were equally amazing. My only opinion is they are small, even the grande – but perfectly made.
Shrimp Garlic- very generous portion of shrimp, good flavor and the soft garlic bread topped it off as near Perfection.
NOW LETS TALK PERFECTION… The Octopus Ajillo was PERFECTION PLUS… octopus was so tender it nearly melted in my mouth, thought it was weird to incorporate carrots in the dish, i´ll leave them out next time… everything was outstanding….

My family and I had a truly outstanding experience at Melissa’s. Not only was the food delicious, but Christian, our server, went out of his way throughout the evening to make sure everything was perfect. We sat on their rooftop terrace enjoying the beautiful sunset, then to our surprise, a mariachi band arrived to perform for a table who was celebrating a birthday. We thought they would only be there for a song or two, but they ended up performing for half an hour! It was such a lovely way to spend our first night in Mexico; an experience that we will never forget. I highly recommend having dinner at Melissa’s, and when you do, be sure to ask for Christian!
