Ordered 3 dinner entrees all 3 was supposed to come with black beans and rice. None of them came with that paid $40 and all I got was the side order of an entree, called in to complain, asked if it came with the beans and rice and we told that they didn’t come with that. The server went on to say that she “had worked there for 3 years and it has never come with beans and rice.” and the prices were raised 3 years ago. I told her I don’t care as much about the price as I do with plenty of food. Very disappointed!!! Won’t go back

Mexican? More like mexi-CANT. If I could give 0 stars I would. This was our second time coming here after a disappointing first experience with dinner, we decided to give it another try with the breakfast everybody had been raving about. The only good thing about this place was the service. we were very disappointed. The breakfast menu has ONE Mexican option, so I took my chances on it and regretted it. The huevos rancheros were served on oil-soaked tortillas and with some lame excuse for salsa served over it. On the side, was crunchy seasoned rice and bland beans. Everything tasted like it had come out of a can. On the bright side, I did order a pancake with an egg on the side, which were very good. But over all, this is nothing close to authentic, and I don’t recommend for people who are looking to have tasteful Mexican food.

Was their for my fiance Aunts 90th birthday. Area we used was a nice size for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable.

Salsa is puree tomatoes no flavor or spice. Food is just okay. Lacks personal touch the old location offered. Almost like a upscale Taco Bell. Hard to believe that Malina’s use to set the Mexican Food standard in Blackfoot now it is almost embarrassing.

Melina’s is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been too. The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant clean. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The menu prices are about average, and the portions are large.
