Today was our first time visiting Melbourne Kitchen for breakfast. I must say it was absolutely amazing. From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with friendly employees. The meal was outstanding! I had the the original eggs benedict which was the best i have ever had. The fresh squeezed orange juice was fantastic as well. Towards the end of our meal the owner / chef stopped by to see if there was anything that could be improved upon and gave us a little background about how they do things. We will definitely frequent this establishment because of the quality of the food was amazing and the love they put into it definitely shows. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful first visit to The Melbourne Kitchen!
From the freshly squeezed orange juice to the crispy potatoes and yummy pancakes, everything was incredibly fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious.
Our server, Anthony, was so kind, sweet, and attentive, he truly made the experience even better. The owner even came over to check on us and chatted for a few minutes, which was such a nice personal touch. They haven’t been open very long, and he mentioned that his main focus right now is customer service and food quality. Believe me, they are doing an amazing job at both.
At one point, my husband and I mentioned that we might try the gravy next time (we usually don’t because my husband makes excellent gravy at home). The owner must have overheard us because he surprised us by bringing out a container of gravy along with biscuits for us to try. Needless to say, both were absolutely delicious!
The restaurant itself is beautifully done, with lovely indoor and outdoor seating. I’m so happy we found this hidden gem.
We can’t wait to go back and we definitely need to try their lunch next time!

Wonderful experience for our first time here. Chef Chris comes out of kitchen and visits each table. We enjoyed a breakfast sandwich and a Corned Beef Reuben. Be sure to try the Candied Pepper Bacon!
There’s also a full bar and a pastry case with delectable treats!

The Melbourne Kitchen has officially become our new favorite spot when visiting the area! We were in town over Thanksgiving with our son and wanted to step out of our own kitchen and try something new. This restaurant has been opened for less than 2 weeks, and our son suggested we give it a shot — he was absolutely right!
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a beautiful display of homemade baked goods. The aroma of muffins, scones, oversized chocolate chip cookies, blueberry-topped cheesecakes, brownies, and other treats will stop you in your tracks.
The atmosphere is clean, relaxed, and spacious. The entire staff is warm and welcoming, and you’re greeted the moment you walk through the door. We even noticed the owner—who is also the cook—visiting tables, making sure everyone was happy and sharing how hands-on he is in the kitchen. Our server, Abi, was fantastic and didn’t miss a beat.
The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was excellent. We tried the crispy fish sandwich (served on their amazing homemade coleslaw), waffles, chicken and waffles, and the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits were a standout—large, plentiful shrimp cooked perfectly! The food arrived quickly, and the presentation was thoughtful and appealing.
Portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry—and you’ll likely take home leftovers. We also loved the “MK” seared onto the buns, a fun touch that gives the experience an upscale feel. If you enjoy fried green tomatoes, theirs are definitely worth ordering.
We enjoyed chatting with the owner about new dishes they plan to add (including Bang-Bang Shrimp) and their pet-friendly outdoor dining. I wouldn’t be surprised if a dog menu appears one day! The outdoor area is spacious, nicely landscaped, fully shaded, and equipped with fans for warmer days and heaters for cooler weather. We also loved the large monitor statue welcoming guests along the walkway.
If you’re looking for a great place to dine, I highly recommend The Melbourne Kitchen. We can’t wait to return and try the pancakes and, of course, the shrimp and grits! Just keep in mind—they’re a new restaurant, and with winter visitors returning, you might wait a little. But the food, atmosphere, and friendly staff make it absolutely worth it.

OH-MY-GOSH….. absolutely and undeniably phenomenal. I give this place all the stars in the sky! I had the honey gyuere melt with candied bacon, onion rings and the tomato bisque, my daughter had the French toast with sausage and for a little treat I had the Rocher Espresso Martini. The food was literally mind blowing, I did the happy dance with every single bite! I never knew gourmet grilled cheese could taste so good! My daughter (the pickiest eater in the world) ate EVERYTHING and had a full belly. To top it off the service was stellar, Lexi was our server and she went above and beyond to make my daughter happy and our dining experience an enjoyable one. If you are going with little ones, I definitely highly recommend sitting in her section. This chick is for sure mama who understands what it’s like to try to bring a toddler out to eat! This will for sure be our new go to mommy daughter night out spot!

We have opportunity to stop here for lunch and it was phenomenal. You need to come and visit.! Dogs are welcome and they’re even going to create a menu for them. The honey sourdough grilled cheese was excellent, and it comes with fries, which were also very good. My husband had the bacon apricot burger and he said it was one of the best burgers he’d ever had. The owner stopped by and welcomed us, and it was really a pleasant experience.

VERY pleasantly surprised! Stopped in for a very late lunch. Luckily I was able to order breakfast because I just had to try their Market Brussels Corned Beef Hash.
Holy cow, it was so so delicious. The corned beef was the real deal mixed with delicious potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and they got the over easy eggs just right! Without being greasy! The price was more than fair for the size and quality of the dish. I also grabbed a pumpkin cheesecake muffin to go. Pure delicious homemade indulgence!
I loved the indoor and outdoor spaces! Upscale casual, diner vibe, and a great eye for design!
My server, Anthony was sweet & attentive as was the hostess. And it was very thoughtful of Tara to take a minute and say hello and check on my experience. Can’t wait to check out even more of the menu and drinks with friends & family!

Went here for a quick lunch before an appt and was so happy with my Gruyère grilled cheese it was excellent and I’m not a Fry girl but the regular fries were also really excellent and they use canola oil which is good for those avoiding other mainstream oils (we can’t have soy or peanut due to allergy) Lexi was my server and she understood the assignment, brought it out fast and gave me the box I asked for and I paid and was on my way with leftovers. Wish them the best of luck can’t wait to try more items

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. I love the atmosphere both inside and on the patio. The coffee is amazing and I love that every time I got a refill it was piping hot. My husband ordered the butchers cut Benedict for $19 (pictured) and I ordered the avo good day with bacon and cheese ($18). The food tasted quite good, although my meal and my husbands meal came out at different times. His Benedict was a great portion size and they were very generous with the corned beef on it. I will say I probably wouldn’t order the avocado toast again because 1 slice of toast with avocado tomato and 1 egg with no sides is not really worth the $13 base price in my opinion. The food is very good but it is on the pricier side for a breakfast restaurant. I would definitely go back but probably order a different entree next time.
