Banger. Food was excellent and has good portion sizes for the price. The panang curry was great and the pad Thai was good, as well. I ordered a 3/5 spice for the curry and will probably get a 4/5 next time (I am white so 3 wasn’t very hot)

Mekong knocked it out of the park! Large portions, perfectly seasoned, just enough heat and excellent service!
I had Combo #2 (fried spring roll, tofu pad Thai, chicken curry) and the fresh spring rolls.
My lunch partner had Mekong chicken yellow curry, pad Thai with giant prawns (she got double prawns for just $2 more!), fried spring rolls (so many!) and fresh spring rolls. (See photos)
I will definitely be back!

This used to be our favorite Thai restaurant, but the food quality has decreased quite a bit to the point it’s lost its competitive edge against other Thai restaurants in the area. The egg rolls came after the main meal, they were over fried and the filling was mushy. We ordered the pad Thai and screamer, the veggies were over cooked and it used to have more chicken. The pad Thai came so late that we took it to go because we were already done with the other meals, the pad Thai sauce was so sweet that it could’ve been a dessert. The servers were nice but the only time we saw them was to take are orders and drop the food off, we had to go up to the counter to ask for a box and then check because we sat there so long. The quality and service has decreased so much we’ll probably not ever return again. Highly recommend trying other Thai places in the area.

We don’t eat out often due to dairy restrictions for my son, so when we do I always make sure it’s somewhere safe for him. I remembered eating here when I worked right in downtown years ago and I always had fabulous lunch items.
My son has had Japanese and Chinese food but never Thai, figured it was time to change that. We came in for dinner and there was only one other table with people when we came in. Not sure if lunch is the busy time or if people do take out more at dinnertime these days. They did have a few take out orders while we were there.
Our server was very nice and super helpful suggesting items. I know it was slow but checking in a couple more times for water or to offer tea would have put the service to a 5 for me.
Now about the food. Delicious. We got Combination #1 and chicken satay with peanut sauce. My son devoured the chicken satay and ate all 4 skewers. Took to chopsticks like he was born with them. Told me repeatedly he loved Thai food and the next day ate all the leftovers. I left feeling stuffed and happy, I don’t eat carbs often anymore so the term food coma applied 100% in my case.
Delicious and we will come back again, we just may change where we sit so easier for staff to see us.

Very boring experience with mediocre food. Service was unreliable. The fried wide noodles were mushy and stuck together in clumps. There was so little chicken in the curry it was sad. No refills on soda either. Overpriced and underwhelming. Never again!

Got the food to-go, and can say it was a fast and great experience. From ordering in person till I was in my car driving away was a total of about 15 minutes, and while I waited inside it was a pleasant experience with good art pieces and a clean calm environment. The Mekong egg rolls and Phud Thai were the best I’ve eaten. The Mekong curry was also good and very spicy. I will definitely be eating here again.

Very delicious food! Such large portions and not expensive. We ordered Combo #1 (egg roll, vegetarian pad Thai, rice, sautéed veggies and chicken) and Combo #2 (egg roll, vegetarian pad Thai, rice, curry). It was so much food we had very full take home containers. But everything was delicious! We’ll definitely stop here again next time we pass through Olympia.
