By far the best meal I’ve ever had. This was the first time I’ve been to Mekong, I’ve never been a big fan of spicy food.. and now I’m regretting letting that put me off. The flavor of the food produced was unbelievable. Could decide on a starter/small plate so we got 3 between the two of us and I’m so glad we did. Every one was a completly different experience. The main was by far the star, crying tiger beef. Spicy…… But could not stop eating it… Even the deserts were exceptional. The pistachio mirror cake was unreal. Cannot wait to return, maybe even just for the Lychee Spritz cocktail.

Just a wowwww .. and this is an honest ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review. We had the most amazing meal and service tonight! We booked wayyy in advance as we could never get booked into this amazing restaurant.. from the moment we went in till we left we couldn’t fault this place once! Shannon was our waitress and she was amazing, gave loads of advice on ordering, and answered all our questions with great knowledge.. Shannon, you’re amazing a your job and you defs need that all expenses paid trip to Thailand in January as a reward lol guys the food is unbelievably flavoursome and fresh and just so dam tasty !! We were really blown away can not wait to come back for a visit really soon. Currently booking the next date night lol. Anyway, this review is so well deserved ( I never leave reviews) keep doing what you’re doing and see you soon.

As others have said the staff are warm and welcoming and food is exceptional but please don’t miss out on the desserts. The kulfi with hot chocolate sauce is heaven on a plate and the Vietnamese tiramisu is like fluffy clouds in a bowl without a strong coffee taste which I prefer.

Came in for dinner with some friends.
As always the food and service was top quality.
Had the pork shoulder bao bun to start and for the main I had Satay chicken with rice.
Not my first time in Mekong as always it delivers top class food full of flavor!

Well.. incredible.. I got a take away during lockdown and it was brilliant. Finally went to the restaurant and is so much better. It is a Derry gem, incredible, authentic flavours, that doesn’t hold back on true flavours & spice. The staff are fantastic, friendly and actually love being there. Including the kitchen staff, who seem to have a great laugh and enjoy every minute. That shines through in the food! Trust me.. worth every penny!
