“Never judge a book by its cover.” Need some TLC to the bldg and landscaping. It may not be the prettiest Chinese building, but the food is great especially the rice. Be aware they only give you 1 sauce and the price for an extra sauce is a lil steep I think. Food prices are reasonable. **CASH ONLY**

My childhood, and my favorite restaurant of all-time. Me and my mom used to travel from great lengths to celebrate a milestone, with Mekong’s fantastic fried rice and egg rolls. Now as an adult, I make a weekly trip to the restaurant, and the flavor gets better and better.
I can make a home-cooked shrimp scampi similar than Olive Garden, I can make a Shio Ramen better than a local restaurant’s, but NEVER could I ever make a Fried Rice as delicious as Mekong’s.

It’s okay, to greasy and give us heart burn, but it convenient for us to go there after our meeting nights on Thursday. I wish they had more variety of healthy foods like green steamed veggies. That don’t have any veggies. Just different types of fried rice mostly.
