I love Meiz and I’ve been many times! The food is always amazing – the tofu bento box is my fave which is saying a lot as I really love the sushi!
The starters are amazing as is the ramen, the quality has always been great when I’ve visited and I’ve recommended to many others to visit here too!

The service is generally okay but it’s usually difficult getting attention when it comes to paying, even when the restaurant is quiet – this has happened multiple times with us as different sized groups. There was one occasion when I was with a friend and we didn’t realise it was closing time but they hadn’t informed us the till was being closed before they did so. This meant I was unable to pay with cash as I’d planned.

I’ve ordered from here many times too, for larger groups with friends at home and also ordered to work before – everything arrives okay and I’ve always enjoyed it just as much as eating in!

A very good place to visit especially as a student. You have the 50% off menu deal that makes you able to have a hearty meal for under £10.

The portion sizes are great and the quality stays the same each time! The staff are nice and if you come often enough and order the same thing, they’ll most likely remember your order.

Maybe it’s not too authentic but at least it’s cheap in the weekdays!

I’ve been here multiple times for bottomless brunch and can’t fault it. The most amazing and fresh food with a wide selection and no wait times. Yes there are some restrictions on the bottomless sushi but they are well explained by staff and on the menu when you arrive. Clean facilities and great quality food!!

Service is always quick and the menu covers a whole range of tastes. The lunch menu is great value and is exactly what you hope for when you go out for sushi. This will stay a family favourite for a nice evening meal or a weekday lunch spot.

I come to Meiz all the time and love it! The food is amazing and well priced, especially if you come for the Monday-Friday lunch menu which is half price. Its small and never too busy OR too quiet. The service is always good no matter who is working and you can see the food being made/prepared which is pretty cool too. I could come her for lunch with a couple of my friends and end up spending no more than £25 all together.
I recommend the agedashia tofu, and the crunch chicken roll, or the chicken Don. 🙂

Gave this place a try after a random find with a mate and was not disappointed. The service was kind and quick, the food was amazing (tried something new for the first time aswell and was amazed), the restaurant was calm, neat and clean. 10/10 can’t fault it!

I went for sushi today with my son and wife, and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the sushi, and the wait was reasonable. We ordered 51 pieces of sushi, and everything was tasty and fresh. The only minor complaint was that the wasabi wasn’t as spicy as we like. Other than that, everything was fine.

Food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the sharing sushi platter for 3 and we struggled to finish it, there was so much! Staff were lovely and friendly and the place had a lovely vibe. Definitely worth a visit.

I am a frequent customer of meiz and they never disappoint. We love the offers and adore the bottomless menu thats on during the week. Sushi is always well presented, tasty, and are delivered in generous portions. Their other dishes are also very flavourful and and probably the best of what Preston has to offer in terms of Japanese food. Sushi tasty might have the aesthetic down, but their food pales in comparison. Super friendly staff also!
