This location has ample parking and an easy entrance and exit. During dinner time at 3 the wait was about 40 minutes. They have you sign up on a waiting list to get a table if busy. The restroom was a total messed with paper towels everywhere and water on the floor. The restroom needs some TLC during business hours. During dinner you can grab some oriental drinks like green tea and coconut for free but $2/ea for lunch. I feel like the price you pay you should get soft drinks for free tool The food was good but not great. They only refill the main stuff lobster and snow crab like every 30mins when empty. I do like the nice atmosphere. For two people during dinner on a Sunday was about $100 with a 20% tip. I won’t come here that often but only on special occasions.

I went here for the first time in November on a Sunday (dinner prices). We had family in town so we had about 20 people & like 5 kids, they were able to accommodate us all. However, we did run into an issue at the end when paying, they kept thinking we were cheating them. We were split into 4 tables, all right next to each other in the same section though. Some of us were paying for ourselves, some were paying for others who were sitting at another table, so I think that brought some confusion to them. Their math wasn’t mathing, they kept saying we had an extra person & thought we were hiding them or something. We were trying to explain to them for a good 20 minutes before she realized she was wrong. For the food, I thought it was great, however very expensive. I paid for myself only & I also purchased one beer. The beer was a bigger bottle, either 18oz, 20oz, or 24oz (can’t remember). Overall I paid about $65, that’s a lot of money just for one person. The buffet is supposed to be $37, hard to believe the beer itself would nearly be another $30. The Buffet is good, but it’ll be hard for me to go consistently at those prices.
On MLK Day, I went here again for lunch (all pictures are from this day). Overall the food was solid. I think my favorite thing were these baked oysters. For their pho, the broth is actually pretty good imo, & they have this chili oil on the side that you can put in, that’s good as well but it’s pretty spicy. Their sashimi sushi is a weak spot, I tried several pieces & it did not taste great. Tasted kind of old & mushy. Their lunch prices are fine, I paid about $22.
I’ve only been here twice, as mentioned, but the food is solid aside from sashimi. Just wished the Dinner/Weekend prices were a little lower, I don’t know if it’s worth that price. A majority of their dishes, you can’t get it at any other buffets in the Milwaukee / nearby towns, so that’s a plus they have going for them.

I went here for the first time last Saturday. I was just expecting sushi and hibachi. Instead, they had a top- flight AYCE sushi and seafood buffet. Wow! What an amazing surprise! We were greeted with a smile and taken to a cozy booth in a very modern, recently remodeled dining room. Our waiter was very friendly. The buffet was extensive- seafood, sushi, sashimi, fruit, desserts, drinks, hibachi. There were also a few items for those with more American taste. I’m not usually a buffet guy, but everything appeared very fresh. The staff repeatedly brought out large trays of literally steaming seafood like crab legs while I was deciding what to enjoy next. I really liked the spicy crawfish and crab legs. So much delicious food to enjoy in a sparkling atmosphere with friendly staff!

I don’t understand why people are so quick to trash on this place. They just opened up, so of course they will be busy and waiters/waitresses may not immediately get to you!
Service: I had said a week prior to my partner that I would like to try this place. Seeing on the reviews that it gets pretty busy, we decided to go on a Friday afternoon. It was busy, but still plenty of seats. Our waitress was kind, always checking in for refills, and the bussers were quick to taking care of people’s empty plates. Both our waitress and the girl that welcomed us in said “Thank you, have a nice day.” Very good customer service. Even if busy, they were not trying to rush us out, only bringing the bill once they saw us sharing desserts which is understandable.
Atmosphere: For a buffet, it was very clean and tidy. Bathrooms? Also clean. Fair warning to those with allergies, there is plenty of room for cross-contamination if you’re allergic to certain kinds of seafood and/or fish. However, it is a buffet, it’s kind of a given. Hot plates were always being refilled with fresh food and they were checking temps and food quality to make sure they were still decent.
Food: My partner took me here as a Christmas present, and we couldn’t of had a better experience. The food was amazing, and I got to get to know my flavor profile/preferences even better with this experience. We went to try new foods and have a good lunch together and it was just that. My only concern is the small crabs are a little hard to get the meat out of the claws/legs as they can get dry if sitting out for too long, but the body meat was still juicy and tasty. All in all, so much to choose from and to try. Just be mindful of their waste policy if you want to try new things!
We paid $20.99 a person for lunch, and for the selection it couldn’t of been better value. Please do not pay any attention to earlier reviews! Yes, they are busy, but they are a new establishment, have patience.

I had a great experience at this seafood buffet! The selection was impressive — everything from fresh shrimp and crab legs to delicious sushi and grilled seafood. The dishes were always well-stocked, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and kept the tables clean, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Great value for the price. I would definitely come back again!

Overall, my experience at Meiji was a very positive one. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, the atmosphere is unlike any other buffet in the Milwaukee area. Very modern, plenty of seating, and really spacious. The food quality overall was very good, with a great amount of variety compared to other buffets that are in the area. There were plenty of options, including hibachi, pho, sushi, sashimi, seafood, soup, etc. Some highlights being the sushi as well as the seafood shown. The pho broth was a bit bland unfortunately and left a bit to be desired, but the noodles were good and there were plenty of options for toppings and other ingredients.
In response to some of the criticism, they have put up signs at the front of the restaurant highlighting the all-day dinner prices, so expect to pay around $35/person from now until at least Oct. 26th.
One other item that I didn’t mention was that unfortunately, the fork that I received before my meal was a bit dirty. I used their chopsticks instead, which come in separate packaging, but unfortunately there are no additional forks that you can grab from the buffet area. The only utensils you can grab are soup spoons and chopsticks.
Service was very attentive and polite, and even those who weren’t assigned to my area checked in with me to make sure that everything was alright.
Overall, this buffet is a great addition to the Milwaukee area, and I genuinely believe that you get your money’s worth while eating here. It’s all you can eat, the quality overall is great, and they have a great variety of options that will satisfy just about everyone’s appetites.
If the price is a bit high for some, I suggest waiting until after Oct. 26th, where the prices will go down to $20.99/person during the lunch hours.
(For reference, I came in around 11:10AM, and left around 12:30PM.)

Place looks very nice, the food was alright not super flavorful but that’s usually how these buffets go. Kind of the same as lovers lane buffet but more options. My favorites were the pork buns, mushrooms, sushi and the sweet drinks. And the staff were amazing and made the experience very nice. And the smoke flames were so cool!

A good spot to go if you love seafood and sushi. They also have hibachi along with Vietnamese Pho. The Pho broth was surprisingly decent for not being a designated Pho spot, but dont go for the Pho if thats your main food. They had some Chinese food there as well, but if you are also going for mainly Chinese food, you are better off going to a traditional Chinese buffet. The price per person will run you about $33 per person or so, and even kids will get charged like $14 regardless of age(unless under 2 or something). Overall, my wife, daughter and mom liked the food because it was fresh, not overly salty. The atmosphere also had a good vibe to it, and it doesnt make you feel like you are at a buffet.

Amazing! Best Buffett I’ve been to. From lobster, crab legs and many other seafood options to beef short rib to lamb to crispy fried pork to noodles and sushi with so much more in between was all amazing. These people really know how to run a great restaurant as their other non-buffet location is great as well. Came on the first day and it’s running well already.

Like others I scoffed at the price. Us thrifty Wisconsinites want value for our money. Meiji does just that. Most item were buffet-great. Better-than-most-buffets seasoning with some dishes a bit oily. Highlights for me where the cumin beef, cabbage, roasted duck and larger-than-most-buffets peal n eat shrimp. Especially appreciated the ground horseradish next to the cocktail sauce. Yes, the crab are not huge, but they are plentiful and AYCE. $95 for couple of dinners, sodas and 20% tip. Worth at least a try. We will be back.
