Classic deli meats and cheeses for made-to-order sandwiches, cold drinks, homemade desserts and sides, some convenience store type items; a few tables inside and out. If you’re local, you probably know somebody who gets a particular special every week.
Weekday lunch starts at 11, and the menu is pretty consistent. Their current Facebook profile picture has these daily specials marked as March 15-19, probably from 2021. No need to change what works!
Monday: Sloppy Joe, chips, brownie
Tuesday: Cheeseburger, chips, pudding
Wednesday: Fried chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, corn
Thursday: Taco salad (large or small)
Friday: Cod fillet sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans

A pleasant stop for a sandwich. I had the pepper loaf, which was generous. I would ask for slaw on it a next time. And what might really bring me back was the cherry shortcake. Simple, but i was impressed – moist light and not too sweet. Lovely.

Meier’s Market is Taco Salad Tuesday awesome!!!!! $5 lunch for a huge Taco Salad that will feed at least 2 people. They have a cute Lil country store and they even make home-made sandwiches that they cut and add your condiment’s and your choice of cheese if you need a quick bite to eat if your in Nashville IL
