I got the Mongolian beef with Lo mein and a small Wonton soup. The beef was absolutely delicious and flavorful. And the wonton soup was the best I ever had.

Back at it again with the general tso’s. Ordered ahead of time and picked up that dinner. My dinner. From here. Good stuff. They have a box set up on the counter full of fortune cookies. I grabbed what I thought was 2 cookies. I get home, and what’s this? A hidden bonus cookie was in the wrapping of one of my two. A third cookie! I feel particularly fortunate.

I wanted to love it. Everything tasted off. Egg soup smells funny like “hey we can cook this forever” … beef pepper and onion tasted like sweet and sour soy sauce??? The eggroll was 85%+ wanton5%air the rest unidentifiable… lastly the water bottles (no fountain which is kinda common) had a certain “I’ve been inside a sometimes moldy case” smell. Could be me? Could be “chinese” food in America? Anyway I do not recommend unless apocalypse.

No way, Mei Wei, just NO.
From the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stumbled onto the behind the scenes blooper reel of a restaurant. Hospitality, nonexistent. The cook looked like he’d just rolled out of a laundry basket, dirty clothes, no socks, shoes that had clearly seen things, and the food matched the vibe, aggressively mediocre and proudly tasteless.

We ordered cashew chicken and orange chicken. The “orange chicken” was basically 75% breading, 25% disappointment. Zero flavor. The only reason we knew it was supposed to be orange chicken was the handful of orange peels tossed on top like confetti at a sad parade.

The rice, gooey, oniony, and featuring exactly six peas, because apparently that’s the ration.
And the eggroll… listen, you’d think an eggroll is foolproof. You’d be wrong. It tasted like pure grease, probably from a fryer that hasn’t been changed since the early 2000s.

The cashew chicken, same story. A few lonely pieces of chicken drowning in a sea of celery, carrots, and cashews.

Would I recommend this place? Only if you’re absolutely starving and every other restaurant within 20 miles has mysteriously vanished.

Delicious thai basil fried rice. Our go to Chinese place in the area.
Spring rolls and also stir fried brocolli in garlic sauce is absolutely delicious.

Always fresh , hot and yummy when you order at the counter & pickup !

Best Chinese take out around. They offer a whole section of steamed dishes with sauces on the side for people eating healthy, and the steamed dish was excellent. The other dishes: sweet & sour chicken, wontons, etc were great too. Found our go-to Chinese takeout place!

We love the combination dinners. You get so much you’ll have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. When you order, no matter how large or small the order is, they have it ready to go in 15-20 minutes. We always call it in. Everything always tastes great, definitely recommend.

Lovely little Asian restaurant in Fuquay-Varina. They cover any type of asian food you like – Chinese, Thailand, and Japanese – in one location. Try something with the tofu in it – they cooked that extra yummy. Good service with hard working staff. Nice little homey restaurant for dine in. Family friendly. It was busy when we were there, but most people picking up to-go orders.

My favorite thing is the wonton chips they bring out after you’re seated! The mango chicken and hibachi chicken were hits, as was the hibachi tofu. Kung Pao tofu was just okay, not great and the sesame tofu was too saucy and sweet. My daughter liked the sesame chicken, but it was too sweet. We’ve been twice now and the service was good. We’ll go back soon.

We have ordered here in the past and it was phenomenal!
We ordered today and had the opposite experience. Chicken was old and rice had an odd taste to it.
Service was very fast and food was hot but did not taste fresh.
