I hesitated to ever go in there because I never saw any cars in the parking lot but one Saturday evening decided to Try it after a friend highly recommended it to me! It was excellent! Generous portions and excellent food made to order while you wait! The owner Linda is very nice,if she was rude to a few that posted that, it’s probably because they were rude!! I’ve eaten there 3 times and have been very satisfied and the egg rolls are the best!

The owner and cook, Linda, is one of the nicest people we know, very sweet, always remembers who we are, what we like, and loves to inquire about how college is going. She makes the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had! I would highly suggest going to Linda for ALL your Asian Food needs!

The food is wonderful every time I go and the portions are so generous. The dinning area is always so clean and Linda the owner and operator is so friendly and good natured. I highly recommend this restaurant .

The hostess was exceptional!! Very friendly greet at door…excellent with the service…came at good time with drink orders and appetizers..the crab rangoon…THE BEST EVER..so fresh and plump Full….the rest of our meal was a variety of food from lo mein and chow mein to chicken fingers…oh my..just fresh..and rice done perfect!..the atmosphere was friendly light and enjoyable…oh and clean..super important to me..and always what I notice first…loved the bathroom as well..will be my new restaurant of choice from now on.

I’ve traveled and lived throughout this beautiful country of ours. And yes, I do love the many foods of Asia and beyond. In my employ, I have been assigned a new district here in Maine. And so for the next 5 years or so, I needed to find a quality restaurateur of asian foods. I’ve tried near ALL of the establishments in the Augusta to Waterville area. My last try turned out to be the superstar of them all. Mei Dream, yes literally puts all the others to shame. Their fresh fresh quality meats, grains, vegetables and seasoning ingredients are tale tell from your first bite. Just Spectacular !!! If you’re looking for a qualified suggestion as to whee to eat, try one of your favorite dishes here, and see if you don’t agree ! I passed this establishment more than a couple hundred times, often seeing a near empty parking lot. But then, I decided to stop in. It was at that moment that I realized the parking lot dilemma. I saw that many diners take their meals to go. For what better place is there to enjoy food this delicious, while sitting in their own homes with the ones they love. Lesson learned…. never let a near empty parking lot dictate one’s options for the food they love. Mei dream gets a 5 STAR RATING. Oh… for those that comment on the owners seemingly unfriendly demeanor. Know that true great cooks are so ever consumed with the product they are preparing. Know that the owner, cook and customer service position are held by one person. So if you are new and catch her at a busy moment, suck it up, and realize that if you want to eat well, than look past her hurried tone or look. She’ll get around to making you comfortable and putting a smile on your face. And for others, sadly I feel they want the world of other nationalities to bow down and thank them for their business. I’m sure this business owner is very thankful for the business. But don’t take such personal viewpoints as purposeful. especially on a busy night ! I found this owner to be quite friendly and cordial . Give her place a try. You too will be back over and over again !!

This is the Worst food I ever had!taste spoil! Order take out say it gonna take 30 min. when I got there to pick up the lady want me to pay first. I wait and wait before I know it 30 min pass by til I get my food. If I wasn’t pay for the food already I would of walkout. I would never come back here again !!

Best Chinese food ever, great portions!! Don’t deliver but worth the drive. Much better then surrounding Chinese restaurants. We will use them for all take out nites for now on!
