Mei offers the trifecta of Asian culinary delights with Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dishes. The service was excellent, both friendly and prompt. The ambiance is pleasant. The seating in our booth felt upright and corrected my otherwise slovenly posture. Overall, the food was very good. The crab Rangoon was crispy with the right amount of filling. The General Tso’s chicken was interesting. The chicken itself was excellent but the sauce felt almost elastic. The beef on the beef and broccoli was almost too soft. I wasn’t sure I was eating beef. The sauce tasted good but could have been slightly thicker. With so many different cuisine options, you’re certain to find something you like and it will be an enjoyable meal.

We had an incredible dinner at Mei Asian Cuisine last night! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch , attentive and friendly.

The food was the absolute star of the show. We started with the Crab Rangoon and dumplings , both of which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. We tried a couple of sushi rolls which were fresh and flavorful.

For the main course, the Mongolian Beef was tender and served over those signature crispy noodles, and the Yellow Curry had just the right amount of heat and richness. We paired everything with their excellent cocktails—the Lemon drop Martini and the Margarita were the perfect refreshing touch.

If you’re in Dallas and looking for high-quality Asian fusion with a great atmosphere and even better service, this is the spot.

I had been here a few times before the recent name change. It is even better than before! Amazing options of all kinds. If you’re craving Asian food this is a great spot. All of the different specialities are great and well priced. Full bar!

Chose this place randomly but it completely surprised me. The food was super good, the service was great, good parking, and not too pricey!

The menu is pretty diverse, not too many items, but just enough to satisfy the average craving. Good sushi options as well.
I got the pad see ew, some dumpling, and sushi. Everything was good. 100% recommend if your craving East Asian food.

We visited Mei Asian Cuisine on Saturday, and overall the food was very good. The flavors were enjoyable, and the service staff were friendly and attentive, which made the dining experience pleasant.

However, I would like to offer one piece of feedback. We ordered the hot and sour soup, which costs around $5 per bowl, and the portion size was surprisingly small. It was essentially only enough for two spoonfuls, which felt unreasonable for the price and negatively impacted our overall impression.

I believe if the team looks at this from a customer’s perspective, it would be easy to understand the disappointment. Adjusting the portion size to better match the price would greatly improve the experience.

We still appreciate the good food and service, and hope this feedback can help improve future visits.

Came here on the weekend since we saw that they have a happy hour all weekend with $2 mimosas! The asian food options were plentiful and really delicious- they have thai, chinese and japanese(sushi) sections. We enjoyed the veggie truffle roll for sushi, and tried the orange chicken and lo mein. Everything was great and they had a bunch of spicy sauces, chili flakes, etc to adjust the spice level of your dish too. Enjoyed this place a lot and will be back!

Visited for: a 90s-style Christmas lunch with my little brother after a movie

We had such a good time here. I loved how diverse the staff was and how the food still tasted authentic to my military brat raised tastebuds. They honored their lunch menu and specials (which is rare these days), and they were even advertising NYE specials.

We ordered:
kung pao chicken
sesame chicken
beef & broccoli
fried rice
cucumber avocado rolls
beef steamed dumplings

Everything was fresh and flavorful. My only critique is that the beef & broccoli had just a touch too much fish sauce, but not enough to keep me from coming back, I’d absolutely return.

The restaurant itself is really cute (not “flower-wall-cute,” just genuinely nice). The bathroom was spotless and the soap smelled amazing, which tells me they care about the little details.

Verdict: solid Asian spot, nice vibe, good food, great lunch value, I’ll definitely be back.

Surprisingly good for Asian in Lakewood, which if it exists at all, usually caters to ho-hum tastes. The unagi roll was very good; the jalapeño chicken lunch dish was decent, though not at all spicy. The country music playlist and Nickelodeon on the TV detracted from an otherwise pleasant lunch. I’d like to come back for dinner, as the full bar and table setup looks like a good date night kind of place.

The food is just okay, and while I do appreciate the fresh ingredients, overall the execution was just okay. The vegetables in the stir fry were raw, and the flavor was pretty bland. They tried but improvement is needed.
