Nice small restaurant. The service was a bit slow as I arrived between 11:30 and 12:00, and the chef was still preparing the food. However, the staff member was very nice and friendly.

Came here on a Saturday night after a gym session at Lifetime, we were super hungry. We ordered a mutton biryani and chicken karahi. The chicken karahi was so good. It was hot and very well cooked and the mutton biryani was the right kind of spicy. We’ll be back for sure if we are in the area.

We ordered catering for a party from the Mehran location in Arlington. We opted to do pickup, and the restaurant had the order ready promptly on time. They also had everything packaged very carefully so there was no spillage and they helped us load everything in the car. However, the most important thing is that the food was delicious and everyone at the event enjoyed it and complimented it. We had biryani, haleem, kabobs, chicken karahi and everything was fresh and full of flavor.

My first night at DC and I was looking for late night restaurants when I came across this place on Uber eats with above average ratings. Upon checking the prices online I was really taken aback since I paid nearly $10 on top of the actual price on the website, i.e. it was heavily marked up. Though I don’t think it’s the fault of the restaurant so I’ll let it pass.
As for the chicken biryani, when I opened the container, for a moment I was like…oh no, I’ve had this before a lot of times. But after taking the first bite, I was like ok…this is somewhat new. Loved the spice and sweet fried onions on top complimenting the heat. Was planning to portion some, but the food was so good I couldn’t stop eating and was able to clean it all up in one sitting. The side mint yogurt sauce was really good and it elevated the whole dish. In all I won’t call it the best, but surely worth a commendation.

Was here today for lunch and it was an awful experience. The restaurant itself was slow and there were only a few other tables occupied other than ours but the food took forever. There was a couple seated before us who told us they had already been waiting 40 minutes. The staff said they were prioritizing online orders. When the food finally did arrive, it was pretty gross. We ordered halwa puri (which for some odd reason was served with yogurt – have never seen that before). The puris were terrible and seemed like old roti. The halwa was also disgusting and definitely seemed old and not fresh. The chai was decent but they ran out of tea bags and we had to wait some time for that too. Definitely avoid this place! Not worth it at all.

Afzal went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He was especially great with kids and gave excellent service to us and our child as well, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. It’s rare to see such dedication and warmth.

I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the blend of flavors were a perfect match; the savory chicken chicken matched with the soft vegetables in a well-seasoned sauce was delectable.
My partner had the Butter Chicken and he enjoyed the blend of flavors and the tenderness of the chicken. The Naan and Rice were also a perfect pairing to the entrées.
Their menu offers a great variety of dishes to meet most dietary needs.
