Fast and prompt service. We ordered off the menu at dinner time instead of the buffet expecting fresh food. However it seemed that they just plated some of the curries and rice from the buffet and served it. The chicken tikka also tasted like it was made before hand and reheated.

I travel for work at least 3 times a week and look forward on trying new ethnic cuisines from all over. I was highly disappointed when I got back to my hotel room and found that not only was the chicken marsala full of grease, and too spicy to eat, to the point it made me choke, the chicken was dry and overcooked, with no rice, and the garlic Naan had no oil garlic at all.

Mehran restaurant buffet is quite average. If you really need to have authentic Pakistani food in a reasonable price (Karahi) in particular so that’s your place. I tried Karahi all over some of the best restaurants of DMV but never had a desi tarka taste. Mehran is best place for Karahi ask for chef Naseem to prepare it as per your taste. He won’t disappoint you. Restaurant ambience and hygiene really need to be improved. I don’t know why Desi restaurant owner doesn’t enhance the ambience and didn’t pay attention to hygiene. If restaurant improve these two aspects, it will be DMV best Desi Pakistani restaurant. I wish Mehran all the best, keep up the Great work.

Poorest kabob experience I’ve had. Rice was bland, ok. Chick peas were drowning in oil/grease and were also super spicy. Lamb was very tough and chicken was super spicy. My lips and tongue are still burning. For a general kabob for one combo, the flavors should have been much better. The bread was very good. The price was fine if I could enjoy more than just the bread.

Nice little gem in Sterling. Food very good and prices very reasonable. I think most go for the buffet pricey) but we opted for entrees chicken biranyi, tikki masala, and kabob (3 in all). Generous portions, service laid back but good (had to wave down the server). Booth was a little uncomfortable (bench too far from the table), so I’d suggest sitting at one of their many tables with chairs. Would recommend. Will go again.
