Get the lunch bento box it’s the best deal for $14.99 a ton of food. You pick your entree you get fried rice you get 2 gyoza appetizer, four California rolls huge meal for the price. I got the sesame chicken and my sister got the katsu chicken with the bento box. We also got the pork buns and the katsu buns is an appetizer. My sister wanted to try the seaweed salad It was interesting. She always gets sake wherever we go!! I think it tastes like rubbing alcohol warmed up .
The server was a great guy, The restaurant seemed clean and we really enjoyed the food will definitely be back when in the area.

This is the best restaurant in Hamilton! I absolutely love eating here. The food and the service is always, always, alwaysssss top notch. On cold and rainy days, I get the ramen. The broth is so warm and flavorful and it’s full of fresh, healthy items that make you feel so good inside.
Also, you have to try the hot sake on cold and rainy days! It will heat you up immediately and you won’t feel cold or feel anything but all toasty and lovely inside.
The service is outstanding. They are all so kind and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this place except that I love it and I’m so glad they are here in Hamilton to give this place some variety!

The food is always very good. We really enjoy it and have good service. But I don’t think it does you. Any good to have a reservation here. We’ve done that twice just to make sure. We ate there on February 13th and there were barely two tables ready and nothing at how to reserve sign on it and I saw reserve signs behind the counter. When I told the girl we had a reservation she wanted to sit us at the sushi bar! I said no, I’m not going to sit there because I have a reservation for a table. I think they need to set tables aside for people who have reservations. I don’t think that many people come in with them. Pat most of the tables were full. We should have had a table set back for us since we were there with a reservation. They need to change this

Dining at this sushi restaurant was an unforgettable experience. The chef’s mastery is evident in every bite—each piece of sushi a perfect blend of flavor, texture, and freshness. The presentation? Absolutely stunning—true works of edible art that made each dish almost too beautiful to eat. But what truly set this place apart was the service. The servers were warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable, making us feel like honored guests throughout the entire evening. I’ve never encountered such seamless, thoughtful service before—it was truly the greatest I’ve ever had. From the first warm greeting to the final satisfied sip of miso soup, every detail was flawless. This isn’t just a meal—it’s a culinary masterpiece worth celebrating.

I had a shrimp bento box. Generous portions, well seasoned. Shrimp were a bit overcooked and rubbery but not bad. Vegetables were undercooked. I had sweet tea which had chlorine taste, perhaps made with unfiltered water.
Sever was friendly and accurate but did not check on us often. There were only a couple other tables seated, so this was not because of a busy dining room.
There were a couple of employees having an argument while we were dining. Not loud but also not pleasant.
The dining room presents well except for some sort of exposed duct in a corner. Employees were dressed casual for the price range of the menu. They could elevate the atmosphere with collared shirts instead of sweatshirt and chef hats instead of baseball caps.

Incredible presentation and delicious food! Very happy to have a good restaurant in this historic building which has been a neighborhood staple for decades. Updated interiors are hip and themed well for the cuisine. Must-go for Japanese food lovers!
