We got the Gyu Don, Beef Udon with an egg, and the Chicken Karaage. Everything tasted excellent. This is the second time we’ve been and this will definitely be a regular stop for us.

UPDATE: I went back with the family, there were 9 of us. We did call ahead to get a table ready, so by the time we got there, the table was ready. HOWEVER, when we sat down, we waited 30 minutes, and no one came to our table to even take our drink order. Several people came by, stopped by our table, looked, and then walked away. After waiting 30 minutes, we did end up just walking out and leaving.

Today, I stopped by Megumi during their soft opening for lunch, and I have to say, they’re off to a great start. The atmosphere is inviting, with a modern, clean design and a sushi bar where you can watch the chefs prepare fresh sushi right in front of you. It definitely adds to the experience and makes the place feel authentic and lively.

For appetizers, I ordered the Calamari and Edamame. The calamari was a pleasant surprise—clearly fresh, not frozen calamari strips, which made a big difference in texture and taste. The Edamame was the standard style but still satisfying.

I also tried the Tuna Tataki, which consisted of fresh, raw tuna slices. It had a nice kick to it—spicy enough to be exciting without overwhelming the natural flavor of the tuna. Personally, I enjoyed the heat, but be prepared if you’re not a fan of spice.

For the main course, I went with the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp. It was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy steak paired with succulent shrimp, served with classic hibachi sides. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on.

Since it was their soft opening, a few items I originally ordered weren’t quite ready yet, but that’s completely understandable. It just gives me a reason to go back and explore more of their menu when they’re fully up and running.

All in all, Megumi shows a lot of promise. The food quality is impressive, especially for a brand-new spot. I’m looking forward to returning soon to see how they continue to develop and to try the items I missed this time around. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving some good sushi and hibachi!

Today, my father and I went out to sample some appetizers, and it was fantastic! We tried shumai, soft shell crab, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I almost forgot I was in Greensburg, IN. I will definitely be going back!

Honestly good! Tonkotsu ramen broth was very rich and flavorful… noodles nice and bouncy. Crab rangoon was crispy and fresh, takoyaki was amazing. We got one simple salmon roll and the fish was really great. Bubble tea was good too! Friendly service, very nice, elevated atmosphere. No complaints. Yay!

This restaurant is truly a gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an atmosphere that’s both airy and incredibly comfortable. The soft seating invites you to relax and settle in, while the decor is simply beautiful, with fun touches like creatively displayed beer bottles that add a unique charm.

But it’s not just the ambiance that shines; the staff here are exceptional. They’re not only friendly but also remarkably attentive, ensuring that your every need is met with a smile. And let’s talk about the food—it’s nothing short of fantastic and utterly delicious. I highly recommend trying the habachi and sushi; the taste is exquisite, and the presentation is a work of art in itself.

And if you’re a fan of bubble tea, you’re in for a treat! Their bubble tea is incredibly tasty and the perfect complement to any meal. Trust me, giving this place a try is something you absolutely won’t regret. It’s an all-around delightful experience that’s sure to leave you wanting more!

We went there on a Thursday afternoon so it was pretty slow. We were served quickly and efficiently just like you would expect. Not a lot of bubbly conversation but it’s not really needed and we were attended to quite well.
The food was outstanding!
We got the shumai for an appetizer and we could have eaten a bucket full. I think traditional shumai are just steamed but these were crispy and delicious with a slightly spicy dipping sauce.
We also got a bonsai roll that my wife absolutely loved.
I got the spicy shoyu ramen and my wife got the tonkatsu ramen. Both were excellent and decent size. The spice level was perfect for me, a little much for the wife who doesn’t do spicy much at all. Both had these thin pork strips that had been seared perfectly and really made the dish shine. You can get extra noodles for an extra charge but I don’t know if you could fit much more in there.
We left stuffed and happy.
Definitely going again soon.

The food was good. It wasn’t excellent. The potstickers were but I would have preferred fried. Presentation was good. Service was slow. I’d consider eating there again though.

The food was great. The service, not so much. I place my to go order right before we got our food at the table. When we got our checks, I asked about my to go order. They told me there was a mistake and my order was given to someone who had a pick up order. It’s fine, accidents happen. They said they were going to make me new food. While waiting for the new food to get done, the lady who got my order came back and gave it back and was waiting on her actual order. The waitress literally took the bag and turned to me and said “ma’am here’s your food”. I’m pretty sure this is illegal, you can’t give customers food once you already have it to someone else and they left with it. I said “it’s not fresh now”. She looked at the other customer and asked her if they ate any of it. The other customer replied with no. I told the waitress I wanted new food. (The food they should have been already making to begin with)
