Ordered the three cheese grilled cheese and a side of fries. Very reasonably priced and very delicious.

Recommend both, the fries have the perfect crunch. The grilled cheese is great with some ketchup.

While dining in at roughly 12:30pm a large group of high school kids walked over for lunch, it was extremely busy for about 20-30 minutes. They eat here and then walk back over to the high school (I assume it’s a high school). They were well-behaved, but it was overwhelming. A man with glasses came and checked on me a couple times, an owner or manager – very professional – very friendly.

– On my way out, I also picked up 4 cinnamon rolls and roughly 6 cookies. They had a great selection of cookies.

– I’m not a fan of their cinnamon rolls, too doughy, icing isn’t my jam, and not enough cinnamon. I think Meg’s Place needs to visit Vern’s Place in Laporte, CO to get some tips on cinnamon rolls. Vern’s Place sells a cinnamon roll that’s 2x larger, has better icing, and is the same price as Meg’s Place at $5/ea.

— The cookies are the highlight of to-go — Justin’s Cookie was great as well as the Debbie Cookie (peanut butter). There were a couple others but I don’t remember their names, quality cookie at a quality price $3/ea (giant cookie).

Read the back story of Meg and her family. Her smile and wit are contagious. Food is awesome. All the staff are great. The sweets are sinful. Prices decent for this day and time.

Coming to a High School Football game at Fort Thomas HS, I noticed a restaurant next to the HS. It is my 1st time at Meg’s Place, the place was huge with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, I ordered a Green Chili Popover with a side of Fried Zucchini. Popover 5/5 Zucchini 5/5. I would love to come back when I’m back in the area. Thank you Meg & everyone at Meg’s Place!

Didn’t get a chance to review this place last time I came through to have a breakfast burrito but it was so good I had to stop and try the lunch burgers…did not disappoint at all!! Fantastic place to stop and eat!

We finally had a chance to eat here after hearing so many great things about it. I’m giving it five stars relative to its location. You will not find a better burger in the entire Gila Valley. Are these the best burgers I’ve ever eaten? No, but the burgers are really, really good. The fries were pretty good. My kids said the chicken tenders were good. The soft serve ice cream was pretty good as well. The customer service was great. I got to meet Meg. She is awesome! The store is also a giant shop. You can find everything from baseball caps to honey.

loved this place… had a great green chili burrito… easier to eat with knife and fork… my son said his burger was pretty good – he should have gotten the burrito…

we bought some excellent cupcakes (chocolate & lemon)…

servers were nice, food came out fast… good prices, too…

place is huge, with a little store inside…. they also have ice cream…

My Wildland Fire Crew was in the area for a wildfire, we stopped into Meg’s to pick up breakfast for 20 firefighters. I ordered a Burrito and Breakfast Sandwich for each of us. The price was very very reasonable for the food that we got. Both the Burrito and Sandwich were delicious.. The Staff were friendly and super fast. The atmosphere is nice and clean, the restrooms were spotless. It will be a staple stop for us when we are in the area! Thank you Meg’s for the fast friendly service, we appreciate you!

Since the early days as “Keen’s Store”, this curio/general store/restaurant has survived to become Meg’s Place. It’s just the country oasis you might need after your long haul from Globe and on your way east. Their Keen Burger was great and under $8.00. Where can you get a good burger at that price? Here, my friends.

The restaurant is huge inside and has been made whole with extensive interior improvements that make it fresh, airy, and clean. No more dark spaces like 15 years ago.

I met one of the owner’s, Meg I believe, and her daughter who works behind the counter and is mighty proud to be there helping. An all-around nice stop for the hungry traveler.

Double bacon burger and Indian frybread with chicken and green chili were both excellent! Green chili was flavorful with a mellow kick that I appreciated! Goodies looked good but was too full to try them. Nice roadside stop!

We were moving my daughter home from EAC, and we HAD to stop here.

This cafe is nothing you would expect to see and taste on a lonely road in rural Arizona. The inside decor is cozy and clean, and celebrates the local heritage and it’s past. The food is something I would expect only to find in a gourmet kitchen (and for at least twice the price).

I knew the baked goods are amazing, but I’d never tried anything from the cafe. Just as crazy good! I had the BLT. It’s seriously the best one I’ve ever had. In addition, the fries were perfect and the fry bread was just right.

I made the “mistake” of going to the bakery counter alone after lunch. I came back with a bag full of goodies. The cinnamon roll was lights out. Moist, gooey, and smothered in that famous frosting. I also loved the hot chocolate cupcake and the gingerbread (we came just before Christmas).

Meg’s Place is a national treasure and a must-do for every serious foodie road warrior. I will find a reason to come back.

We got the lemon and the Apple cider cupcakes. The cake is moist and has a subtle flavor. The magic is in the cream cheese frosting. I’d never heard of this PLACE before. But now I wonder why everyone hasn’t heard of it. It puts Fort Thomas on the map.
