My friend and I were looking for a location to meet and catch up for a couple hours. I googled places that would be a similar distance for us to meet at and chose Mega Smoothie. I did not realize was that this is inside a Sports Complex! I will say that was my fault for not doing thorough research but beware this is not a good place to go to relax and chat.
The young people who were working had the lights completely turned off and it seemed like we were bothering them coming in. The area did not feel very clean and the smell of sweaty people playing sports was definitely in this area as well. My strawberry smoothie and my friend’s coffee were subpar; I’d compare this place to just concession stand quality. My smoothie was definitely made with syrup. We took our drinks to a nearby forest preserve because sitting in the coffee shop would have been awkward with the lights off and uncomfortable. If you’re at the complex for a sport already then maybe but if not I’d avoid and go to the nearby Dunkin’ Donuts!

Mega Smoothie in Homer Glen is one of my favorite spots. The smoothies are incredible and the owner, Rob is awesome. Since it’s inside the Megaplex Sports Center, It’s also a convenient location to get some post workout nutrition.
My favorites are the strawberry smoothie and peanut butter cup meal replacement.
Would definitely recommend!
