Came here with friends on a Friday evening and the place wasn’t busy so we sat down right away. They have an interesting way to order food, all orders are placed through one’s phone. We ordered several types of meat, including a cucumber salad that was perfectly paired with everything. My favorite skewers were the ones of mushroom, sausage and chicken skin. The portions were not very big but enough to sample several without overeating. But we ate so much that we didn’t get any dessert and by the time we left there was a line of people waiting to go in. I’ll definitely be returning to try other meats and have some more of the cucumber salad.

We came here on its 3rd day of soft opening. Tasty BBQ that works so well with egg fried rice. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower and lamb skewers, and the fried rice. The chicken skin may just be a bit overcooked. It would be even better with beer. It also offers free appetizers and Chinese smoothing dessert that fit well after the strong flavored BBQ. The ambience is casual and happy. All in all, great price performance. We would come back when it gets the alcohol license.

The skewers were had big pieces and hefty, so that was good. But the quality could’ve been better compared to other skewer places. Their free appetizer bar was great and very complimentary to the umami flavors of the protein. I liked the Lamb and beef skewers. I also liked the mushroom skewer. Kids love the tornado cut potatoe skewer. The cold beef appetizer plate was really nice.

I found Meet You BBQ on Yelp by searching “late night eats” in San Gabriel area at midnight. They closed at 2am. We got there at 12:45am. Last call on ordering is at 1am. Yes, just made it!
Meet U BBQ has a variety of meats on skewers, seafood, fried rice, and more. It was the perfect place to eat for late night because who doesn’t like meat on skewers, cold beer and good music. It’s self ordering after scanning the QR code on the table. Staff is super friendly and told us to help ourselves with snacks.
The complimentary self-serve snacks station have random items like roasted peanuts, sweet & sour chicken feet, sesame balls, wonton noodles, watermelons, orange slices and more. They were all interestingly delicious individually. Very generous!
I think they used the same seasoning for everything but the meat brings out the flavors slightly different. We had the chicken wings, pork, beef, chicken gizzard, and chicken skewers. The chicken wings was the best! Packed with flavors and cooked to perfection!
The Grilled Oyster and Scallops with glass noodles on shell was so good. It was garlicky and savory.
The baby clam was too spicy for me but addictingly good.
Service was quick – could also be we were one of three customers/tables left before closing. We’ll be back again the next time in LA.

Food is good. But the bill is overcharged for a dish that’s never delivered to us. We specifically asked cashier to take it off the bill. But they forgot I guess. They promised to refund as a credit though.

I will say this is the must-go place in LA. The food is fantastic, and if you try their fog, you will never forget the taste and come back again later. I have been to this place for 4 times whenever I travel back to LA.

chinese skewers say less. best midnight snack and they open till 2am. i love their seasoning but i always as for it to be less spicy since i can’t really handle heat. they mostly mainly speak chinese but you order on your phone so there shouldn’t be any problems. this is also on my list of must visits every time i stop by LA. they just do skewers better in LA.

The newly opened barbecue restaurant has a different style of grilled fish. I ate there for 3 days and it was really good. The barbecue is so delicious, and the grilled fish comes with different flavors.
