Simply based on the authenticity alone, this place deserves a 5 star even if some dishes taste better than others. Most of the dishes tasted amazingly authentic. They were very quick at serving dishes as well, which was a plus. The overall vibe is like back home in China, and the fact that it’s located on Eat Street in Minneapolis also gives it extra points on deserving a visit.

Since I have ordered so many dishes, and they all represent the authentic flavors from China instead of novelty creations, I won’t talk about how well they tasted, but will simply name a few dishes that I felt like were especially amazing that customers in general need to try: Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles (担担面), Chongqing Spicy Noodles (重庆小面), Century Egg with Silken Tofu (皮蛋豆腐), Braised Beef Noodles (红烧牛肉面), Lanzhou Beef Noodles (兰州牛肉拉面), Spicy Wontons in Chili Oil (红油抄手), and Cumin Lamb Sandwich (孜然羊肉夹馍). Honestly even for the dishes I didn’t mention, they were quite great as well. The only dishes that I thought were merely okay were the following: Lamb Noodles in Soup (羊肉烩面) and Milk Egg with Fermented Rice Soup (鸡蛋牛奶醪糟). Overall I do think the dishes don’t have enough meat ingredients and too many noodles, but that wasn’t uncharacteristic of Chinese restaurants in general, so I was okay with it.

Once again, the main highlight of this place was how authentic the food was in representing what one could have from China. The only item I am dying to try, which I hope they’ll put back on the menu upon having the appropriate chef to make it, is the Tongguan-style cumin lamb sandwich (潼关孜然羊肉夹馍), as they didn’t have it everytime that I visited.

I found this place through some online video reviews and I have to say it was worth it! The dishes are authentic Chinese cuisine, and the flavor really hit home good. The only real complaint I have is the spice levels, as the spicy plates aren’t really that spicy in my opinion. Don’t worry, the flavor is still fantastic though! Whenever I get the chance I will definitely come with my family or friends!

A nice Chinese restaurant with a great variety of noodles & appetizers. We ordered scallion pancakes to start; they were delicious & the dipping sauce was super flavorful. I had the garlic noodles & loved them! My partner got the Dan Dan noodles & enjoyed them, except for the sauce, which wasn’t quite to his taste. We also tried the plum beverage & really liked it. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This is an awesome place to enjoy noodles! Freshly made, many choices, and tasty! Plenty of vegetarian options and plenty of noodle choices to experiment with your all-time favorites.

Good for the young and old or just to hang out with friends or family. Yes, they serve good tea and no, they don’t have alcohol so if you’re looking for a buzz, this is not for you but if you’re looking for good food, come on in!

Friendly staff and they hustle so other customers can enjoy the experience without rushing your table. Absolutely coming back!

The noodles were authentic, and I loved how you can see them hand pulling the noodles through a glass window. The staff was friendly and the food was served fairly quickly. I loved the vibes of the restaurant. The menu selection is really nice. I highly recommend the place! Prices are pretty good for such a good noodle restaurant! It’s around $20 after tax and tip per person.

What a welcome new offering in the former Bad Waitress space. Noodles here are not surprisingly the feature, but they exceeded our already somewhat high expectations. Scallion pancakes are not to be missed, soup broths were rich and flavorful, service was friendly and dishes arrived really quickly—a bonus on a frigid winter night. (Great to see this place was already full and busy on a cold Wednesday!) Portion sizes are VERY generous, especially considering our entrees topped out at $17 for what will easily be two servings each. Bring a crowd and share a bunch.

This place has had a few iterations of names but about the same menu items. This current iteration “Meet Up Noodle”, is still fantastic spot for great noodles. Great authentic food, full of spices and flavor. You honestly cannot go wrong with any dish on the menu. Just make sure you get in early for dinner on the weekends, as it gets pretty busy.

Meet up Noodle is conveniently located and parking was easy. I ordered the Northern Specialty Lamb Stew. It’s very unique and different. I had left over broth so I brought it home and made it into a wild rice soup. Excellent fusion. My daughter had beef noodles and her broth was amazingly good. It’s a fun atmosphere for dining and service is quick and polite. The Jasmin tea is very good as well. My only complaint was that I thought I could eat most of my stew and I left so full! We will be back again. The Chinese flatbread was also a perfect compliment to the stew. I love the texture.

Pleasant and yummy experience. We got three dishes, although none of them were as spicy as we expected (or hoped) despite some being labeled as spicy. But adding chili oil really saved the experience, and thankfully they provide soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil on every table. The hand pulled noodles were great, and it was fun to be able to see the kitchen through the window on the wall.

Service was absolutely great, the wait staff was kind and friendly, we never were without anything, and I have no complaints about the price. There aren’t many places in the Twin Cities where two people can get a meal plus appetizer for under $50 when all is said and done. Would recommend and go again.

So good! I loved my pan-fried pork dumplings, scallion pancake and chongqing noodles. The menu had me scared it would be super spicy but it was a totally tolerable amount of spice. Highly recommend! And you can see the workers pulling the noodles by hand
