I’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant. I thought I would share with y’all how good they are. The staff is very accommodating. If I had a special request, they try to make it. The quality of their ingredients are no joke. While everything is always great tasting and generous in portion, I am specifically talking about the shrimp. Other restaurants have walnut shrimp, but not at this huge, gigantic size. I’m really impressed because the quality is really excellent. It’s huge not because it’s thickly battered and you get more coating than shrimp, but the shrimp itself is jumbo. I love the egg drop soup. They have a special combo at a very affordable price. This is what I ordered which came with steamed rice, walnut shrimp, egg drop soup. I ordered a la carte 2 egg rolls at a $1 each. Overall, I’m really happy with them.

It’s in the same building as the old Chinese restaurant that used to be there. ( Golden cafe )
I think it’s ran by new people (I didn’t see the older guy who usually runs it)
The menu is somewhat new as some items are new and specialty dishes, some are just Chinese (typical Chinese Viet Thai generic Asian restaurant food) staples. The prices are more expensive than the older spot. They brought back sushi bar!!! But I haven’t tried it yet.
Chili oil dumplings were amazing!!!
Egg rolls are solid!!
The crispy fried chicken was ok, too many peppers the spice was good the chicken was very good and tender.
The food was good, the only problem I had is the egg foo young. The egg omelette was buried under gravy and meat it was like egg omelette with beef and veggies mixed on top drowned in gravy. It’s not what I expected ( updated ) comes on the side
IMO About 15$ per person the average dish is 12$
Service is good, workers are nice!

Tried out the dry hot pot pork intestines ~ aka Chinese chitlins
They were good! the only problem (for me) is the Sichuan? Mala? Spice peppers ( the mouth numbing stuff ) it’s not spicy or hot but every now and again you chew one get a tangy bitter taste and you tounge is numb… I had to pick mine out. The same peppercorn is in the crispy fried chicken. If it’s not your taste you can ask what dishes it’s in but maybe that’s the way it’s supposed to be for those dishes… It’s an experience

The restaurant is a new place but with that said my mom liked the food at the older spot more the way it’s prepared and seasoned is different.

Great dining experience with authentic hunan cuisine. Not many seats but the restaurant was clean and bright. It’s got a mom and pop feel. We ordered cheese puff, one of the best we have had, preserved pork with dried turnip, and rice noodle with chicken and veggies. All of them were delicious and you can taste the love they put into the dish. Staff were very nice! Highly recommend. Show your Support for this small business if you can!

The young lady who was the hostess/server (she’s the only one and wears glasses) was so rude and does not know how to treat customers. Being in a restaurant business, one of your best asset beside having an excellent cuisine is hospitality and courtesy. She has zero quality, does not greet you at all and to top it off, slams your food on your table. The spice level 2 is super hot at this place and we can eat Thai level #4 at any Thai restaurant. It’s worth a drive to Katy Asiantown for better service and food. Please speak with your staff about common courtesy!
Edit: We definitely went to your restaurant and yes it was Fiona and she was wearing a black eyeglasses. Maybe she was having a rough day which I can understand. Please stop making excuses as an owner of a business and accept the negative feedback and change what’s wrong into a positive outcome. A simple apology would have worked instead of saying “Did we went to the right place or she doesn’t wear eyeglasses”. And you had to asked if we went to the right place? YES, we ate there and it’s Fiona. View your cameras since you have it in the restaurant and maybe you can see that Fiona sometimes wear glasses.

Went for dinner last night and was greeted with kind smiles and calm ambiance. I got the General Tso Chicken, Avocado Dragon Roll, and Crunchy Spicy California Roll. The General Tso Chicken was spicy, and well sauced. The chicken looked so good I had to take a bite before taking a pic. And the avocado in the Avocado Dragon Roll was fresh. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered a chicken friend rice, that chicken does not look like chicken, it’s white & weird looking. Rice not so tasty. Why do they think 2 sauces is enough for a big tray of rice? Happy they put it out for you to get more tho.

Ordered food for 4 people last night. $75 total. Not one of us could eat it as it was so spicy. Called today to inform the restaurant and they wanted me to bring the food back. Everyone threw away what they served themselves and this is what is left that no one could consume. No time to return but posting a picture.
