Absolutely blown away by our dinner tonight! We tried the BBQ pork bun, pork dumplings, stewed Angus beef noodle soup, mapo tofu with pork, and the pistachio ricotta cake — and every single dish was outstanding. Usually there are one or two standouts, but this time we genuinely loved it all. The flavors were spot on, rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. This is officially our new go-to spot whenever we’re on this side of town.
And the pistachio ricotta cake… WOW. The perfect way to end the meal — moist, incredibly flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness without being heavy.
We also have to give a HUGE shout-out to our server, Brandon. My husband recently had dental surgery, and Brandon was so thoughtful in helping us choose dishes he could comfortably eat. Every recommendation was perfect, and his kindness and genuine care did not go unnoticed.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the restaurant industry, and I can honestly say his level of service was top-tier. It’s the combination of exceptional food and truly great service that creates loyal regulars — and you clearly have an amazing team. My husband’s order wasn’t the easiest, yet we felt completely welcomed and taken care of.

We came here on a Sunday and for our table for 3, were seated right away. Our waitress was Kasey and loved the way she remained attentive to us. The food was exceptional. The pork soup dumplings were great and very flavorful. Will be retuning soon!

Casual dining with fantastic food, what more can anyone want. I had crab and pork soup dumplings, scallion pancake, thumb sized dumplings, stew pork belly pork noodle soup, and shumai. The staff was very friendly. Food came out very timely. We ordered bubble tea as dessert. This is a great find with amble parking.

Furthermore, we needed to remind them of our missing last 2 plates. Which we received room temperature. Their response was ‘they take a while to cook’. Which i agree, but then why was our meal room temperature?

honestly, i thought the main star of this place would be the noodles or the dumplings. But everything was so mid. It wasn’t worth the money. i would only go back for the dessert tbh. I don’t think this place excited me enough to come back. The dumplings tasted like it could come from cosco but the cosco dumplings were better. The pan fried dumplings were doused in oil and honestly… the only season i tasted was the oil on them. I had the octopus balls which are my favorite and some other things like the coconut shrimp. the coconut shrimp flavor was perfect but if you are expecting it to be crispy, it’s not. Other than that, i say this place is 5/10 for me. But props for my waiter for making it way better than it was.

Meet Dumplings and Noodles is another welcome addition to the developing Clear Lake Asian food scene. It’s very authentic dim sum and casual homestyle food. The food quality is excellent – virtually everything is handmade including the hand pulled noodles! You have to go to Chinatown to get Chinese food like this. Loved the Har Gow (shrimp dumplings), and the sautéed string beans were tasty. You can definitely taste the wonderful hot wok fired flavor. The soup dumplings were average for me. Beef tendon noodle soup was a winner, though some will say the soup is a little bland (I think most places make it too salty)! Finish it off with some Bingsu shaved ice dessert for a perfect casual dinner in Clear Lake’s new Chinatown. Even my lychee green tea with boba was very well done (an afterthought in most restaurants). Only knock on MEET is the staff seem very green and inexperienced. It feels like a Chef-driven restaurant that needs a little more service direction. But my stomach is happy and forgiving.

we had the scallion pancake, the chili oil dumplings, the pork & shrimp pan friend dumplings and the crab and pork soup dumplings.
didn’t really have much soup in the soup dumplings in my opinion… the pan friend were good but wish they were more crispy, and the chili oil were good but kinda felt like a soup instead of a sauce.
good, would go back but not a regular go to spot more so as a put into rotation for dumplings places.

also the peach green tea, SO GOOD
