I once talked to a women about places to eat in this area. She had told me that this place was her favorite, so I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile. The lady that runs this place is one of the nices people I’ve ever met. The atmosphere is perfect for this place. Charming old country vibe. As a added bonus the food was great and the prices were afforable.

Food portions were very generous to say the least. Pot Roast, and the NY Strip were delicious. The greenbeans were a little too peppery for our taste but all generous portions. Mashed potatoes were the real thing, big boxed mashed like other places.
Macaroni salad was just like Grandma used to make. We even got chocolate cake to go and the slice didn’t seem big enough to the owner, so she put in 2.
Music was great, and we even had the cook adding his own flair to the songs. He seemed to enjoy himself.

A local favorite You know if they’re open when they have cars in the parking lot at least that’s what I was told. Halibut and it was absolutely phenomenal. The tomato cucumber onion salad however was a major disappointment I will know next time to never order that one again but overall the atmosphere was very quaint and cozy and comfortable I look forward to going again.

WOW! Mee Maw’s was REAL homemade everything! I had strawberry pancakes with homemade strawberry sryup . My husband had the bacon platter, which was 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and a side of biscuit and gravy. DELICIOUS doesn’t do it justice but can’t think of a better adjective to describe all the food! The owners were very friendly and attentive to the whole restaurant. We will be back! I want a piece of the homemade chocolate cake and banana pudding Please support these ‘mom and pop’ restaurants. They are the SOUL of America!

On our travels home I wanted some good home cooking, I found MeeMaws and we drove a little out of the way to come here. Sooooo worth it!!! The fried chicken,
Mashed taters and fried apples were absolutely amazing! The prices are great as well. The owner/ server was so sweet. I swear it felt like we were long lost besties. A table of Locals came in to eat and it was just like dinner at your grandmas. I never got anyones name, but we sure felt like we were hanging with family. Such an amazing atmosphere! Oh and the decor….yep just like grandmas. Since it’s Christmas they had the cutest tree in there. We will be back.

We found this little gem! We just moved in the area and were looking for a little diner! We found it! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is amazing and friendly. The price is awesome and the food is absolutely delicious! We just had breakfast today but will be back for everything else throughout our time living here! The biscuits are buttery, and everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection! Look forward to future visits here! If you’re due for a scenic drive and would like to go somewhere to eat while out and about, then this is a place to truly consider. The restaurant isn’t very big but it is full of heart and character. The decor is cute as as a button and also unique. I love the fact that it’s practically in the middle of nowhere and yet, being from the country myself (not that I know how to milk a cow), I still feel rather at home. Beth and her husband pretty much run the place themselves alone, yet they still keep the place hopping. They make a good team. But, the food is definitely the draw, as any local patron will tell you. And, it doesn’t matter if you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so I was told (check for days and time open). I, myself, have not been there for breakfast before. However, I do have that on the backburner as a goal. What kinds of food do they have, do you ask? Well, they have anything from ribeye steaks to fried fish dinners, quesadillas, bologna sandwiches, vegetable plates, or even corn fritters, just to name a few. What’s my favorites? I haven’t been there very many times but I can vouch for them having mouthwatering burgers, on the spot handcut fries, right out of the garden tasting salads, and FRESHLY SQUEEZED lemonade. (I’ve literally seen them in action while they were making the latter.) Dont forget to save room for dessert. Some are on display, some aren’t. They won’t mind telling you what they have to offer. But, be careful. They can be gone pretty quickly. That strawberry sauce on the cheesecake that my husband let me take a taste test of is still memorable. I hope that this helped. Enjoy!
