I grew up in Defiance. As a kid I always loved the maple filled sticks!!! I don’t remember even trying another donut there (but I am sure I did). A few years ago we brought my daughter and grandkids to visit family and had to stop here more than once. As luck would have it, two years in a row I have been through for my job, first working in Fort Wayne one day and Toledo the next. Guess what’s in between? Home and Meek’s Pastry Shop!! I got 4 maple filled stick and 2 cinnamon rolls for the road. Don’t judge! I didn’t eat them all at the same time, but I wanted to!

Meek Pastry feels like it’s been there forever! When I walked in, it was like stepping back in time, I really wanted to sit down and enjoy a donut with a coffee. I ordered donuts for all my coworkers, and they loved them! I really enjoyed trying different flavors. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You have to go!

I have been going to Meeks ever since I was a young child (over 30 years). Dropped by today, 8/1 and was surprised by the product. The decorated cookies were so much smaller than even two months ago and there was no flavor other than shortening and sugar. What happened? My husband got some donuts and they were great but something changed with those cookies and not for the good.

I ordered a large amount of cookies for any event. Wow! They were spectacular cookies! Meek’s Pastry took the time to make them fresh. They were everything you want a cookie to be: moist, tasty, and fresh! They also have varieties not common in stores of lemon drop and orange drop. Everyone who had one wanted a 2nd cookie! Service was great. Pricing was fair. What a wonderful, wonderful experience! I look forward to using them for more gatherings!
