1 star for authentic interior. Tiny restaurant. Owner is greedy and still can’t see how it stacks up against her. Asked 20 or 25% tip when charging card. I should’ve read reviews Prior (Duh!) so that I could decline tip altogether. The Tom Kha and rice were reheated leftovers and had veggies I’ve never seen in Tom Kha before (broccoli? So not Tom Kha!) and too thick because it was leftovers. She appears to be the waitress, hostess, cook, dishwasher – oh, btw, my utensil was stinky like it wasn’t washed! I wished I had alcohol to clean it. I didn’t trust asking for a clean one. Should’ve walked out without eating. Pass! Do not try this one.

Restaurant was empty when we walked in at dinner time. The restaurant owner lady hid the tip screen and asked for 18% or 20% tip for to go order. The menu in store does not match up with the current restaurant name. It’s probably from a previous closed restaurant. Meat tasted odd from the dish-bitter and it’s definitely off.

Spicy! Tasty! You have to try this place. The owner greeted me with the biggest smile and warm conversation. Quiet and tucked away, this place surprised me. If you like rare finds in dining, come here.

Been there a couple times. Food was very good. Last time I was there I had the Spicy Seafood. Seafood and veggies were super fresh and yummy. The lady who waited on me seemed to be doing the cooking too. She was quick with my order. Generous portion size. $20 for a seafood dish is great in CA and the wine was only $6.5 a glass. I don’t know why they don’t have better reviews. It was a 5 star dinner when I went last night and am taking my coworker tonight. Give the place a try.

Great food. We were in the area and just stopped by. We had yellow curry chicken and drunken noodles. Both were very good. Same owner cooking for 20 years. Atmosphere is good, it could use Thai music for background. We will be back next time we are in Point Loma.

Longest and least consistent wait for our food we’ve ever experienced. Literally over 1/2 hour wait between when our party’s first and last dish arrived. The unlucky customer after us was told a 25 minute wait and ended up waiting a full hour for his to-go order. When I finally got my dish last she used regular meat chicken instead of the mock-chicken I ordered, so I can’t say it is a vegan friendly place despite the menu options.
I feel bad for Janet, but she just absolutely can’t handle the restaurant all by herself, which appears to be the case. No cook or waiter or anyone besides her trying to do everything which is obviously impossible.

Love this spot. The owner is rad. She’s the owner, cook, cleaner, server and beyond. The food is always delicious. I see a bunch of comments about the tipping, but if you can’t afford to tip well (because hourly wage isn’t near livable) then don’t go out at all. Been going to this spot for years and it’s always delicious and affordable

Omg! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m surprised this place only has 3.8 stars. We walked by and took a chance on this little hole in the wall and so glad we did. The food was soooo fresh, healthy, and delicious! It tasted like eating thai home cooking. And the owner was so sweet and funny – definitely a character. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were great. My friend and I split yellow curry w chicken and fresh spring rolls, and some tea. It was perfect!
