The food tasted good but got the wrong order, we got pickup for a birthday just for 2 people, my fiance ordered the nacho deluxe and I ordered the burrito loco no guacamole and no sour cream, when we got home his nachos were soggy and my order was completely wrong I ended up dealing with it but I ended up getting the mixed fajitas and couldn’t tell there was even shrimp in there because it looked like chicken. We had a budget and ended up going over that because of the up charge from the fajitas.

Every Kansas hunting trip, we end up at Medrano’s in Fowler, and that ribeye special is the real reason we make the drive.
JP’s flying high, Chris is already misty-eyed, and Jordan hasn’t said a word since Dodge City. But Scotty? You can hear him before you see him—loud Georgia drawl, grinning ear to ear, flashing those big ol’ teeth like headlights on a tractor.
When the ribeyes hit the table, it’s like they were made just for him. Those teeth go to work like a woodchipper, and for once, the rest of us get a few quiet minutes of peace.
That’s Medrano’s magic—steak so good it finally gives Scotty’s teeth a worthy opponent.

We had a great meal. My husband had a TACO BOWL, fried tortilla bowl that was perfect. (Not over cooked like our past dining experiences elsewhere) I had Nachoes that were excellent! The only thing I wanted was more tea! Everything was leaving us wanting another trip to Fowler, KS !

great service and food a must have if your driving through southwest Kansas and want great grilled chicken flour tacos I’m told they have the best steak in kansas I just can’t eat red meats so I’m thankful they have food I can eat on a diet. I also hear people say how much the cost is for a steak but for what you get at medranos is way cheaper and better than anywhere else in southwest kansas even the grocery stores charge more for steak uncooked so can’t blame a restaurant for raising prices because they are forced to or close the doors and it’s the only place for us people in western ks to have a meal out or drive 40 miles to dodge city 1 way for more expensive steaks and so if you a penny pincher good luck finding this great of steak anywhere else.
