I came for the first time, excited to try their food but once I went to the window to order, I was ignored, I should’ve left but I am not confrontational…. They took my order, I went to pay and sat down….. 30 minutes passed and everyone else was getting their food, I finally spoke to a lady that passed me and with an attitude asked what I wanted, I told her and she comes back to tell me that they haven’t started on my order, even though I have been waiting for 30 minutes!! She tells me it will be another 10 minutes and I tell her I want a refund. Another lady steps in and says, she can’t give me my money back while laughing….. So, here I am waiting and I will never come back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone, not even my worse enemy!

The arroz pupusas with beans and cheese were very flavorful. The chicken and potato tamales were good as well!

Love their El Salvador pastries
Their not super sweet and there’s one I love so much with crust like a baklava pastry . Plan on eating in there some day. It’s a small store with tables in the back to sit down and eat. Their chicken tamales are good which they sell fresh at the check out counter. People there are so nice and helpful.

We (Wife and I) love trying “hole in the wall places” like this Salvadorian gem in South Irving. It was a great experience but most folks working there only spoke Spanish.

Amazing find to eat piping hot corn tamales, they were to die for. Hot tip: Hot tamales and Mexican crema are amazing combination, once again you had to ask for it which is a bummer IMO. Cannot put it down since it was finger licking good. People who know know what I’m talking about.

Since it was a bakery we took an assortment of sweets to try out and they were wonderful. Great place to go but take a Spanish fluent feiend or family member before going to this place

Hands down best bread and great service. I’ve been going here for years and it’s still my number one spot for Salvadorian sweet bread. I have family in Louisiana and Florida and they always ask that I take bread from this place.

Food was good (4 stars), but a little over priced (3 stars). Pupusas $2 each. Fried yuca with 2 fried pieces of meat, $9. If you don’t mind the price, the food was pretty good so try it out.

The lady at the counter seemed visibly upset by the fact that I don’t speak Spanish, but the sweet bread was so good I don’t even care. They had some kind of popover that had a crescent texture with cream cheese and what I’m guessing was guava jelly inside… It was insanely scrumptious!!!

On Thursday I placed an order of 50 breads to be ready on Sunday at 1:30 the lady took my order and told me they will be ready by that time and they’d give me my total when I arrived. Come Sunday, they didn’t even know what I was talking about the lady didn’t even put in my order to begin with! Very, very pissed customer here. Never ordering here again. Neither is my family and friends I’ll make sure of that.

Nice food a little patience is needed because they cook everything on demand but food is good. The pan dulce is great and the Salvadoran snacks they prepare are awesome for a quick bite.

The employees need to work on there people skills and customer service skills. My last visit they were rude! The Mexican candy they sell there too was out of date to eat as well. I won’t go there again to eat.
