Food was good, service was mediocre. I understand that people had accents but my server was impossible to understand. Then, he went ahead and just gave us the second portion without asking just put in on our plates.
Price and portion size was good. It wasnt the best of the best cut of steak but it was decent, not too bad. Fries were good, the sauce was a bit too salty but it was fine. Salad and bread were good, nothing special though. We also had the key like pie that was good.

Excellent time there. Had a Valentine’s Day brunch set for 16 only half attended but the restaurant made sure to accommodate me and my guest! Gave me extra roses to decorate the table which was so kind! Love going to medium rare for their brunch at the Bethesda location! Decided on this location and would recommend! 10/10 food, drinks and servers! Will definitely be back soon!

It’s my first time and the overall experience was well worth it. The price for the amount of steak was surprisingly reasonable, since they offer a second serving. I love the rustic bread, crunchy but soft inside. The salad was fine. The fries are really good and

I’m honestly extremely disappointed. I had high hopes for this experience and was caught off guard by the $6 charge for water. My steak was overcooked the first round but perfect the next. Salad was good, fries were good, definitely not worth $57. The sauce was good. The inconsistency in the steak was the most disappointing. Next time I’ll just go to fogo de chão.

After a long break, this was the restaurant that surprised me the most. The food and the concept were excellent. The taste of the butter bread and the salad is still lingering on my palate. but their apple pie was not good.

I walked in not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little on my own, as no one greeted me. But I was given a pri-fixed menu to take all the guessing out!! I had the blackberry sangria for my drink. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (butter was served cold – only complaint). The salad, the salad… very plain but so delish – had all the perfect varieties of lettuce. The first plate of steak frites was so surprisingly perfect… but then they asked if I was ready for my second one… had to get that one to go! 10/10.

Everything about this place is amazing! From the moment you walk in, the vibes are great! The place is super cozy and welcoming!
We were seated in a cute window spot and immediately started with mimosas, then we started with the parfait for my dining partner and mixed green salad for myself(gluten free and vegetarian) we then enjoyed steak frites with poached eggs for myself. It is gluten free but not vegetarian. My dining pattern had American breakfast sandwich with frites that. They were both phenomenally delicious! Cannot wait to come back for brunch! Might even try dinner next time!

Hey this place is a pleasant surprise, the food was great and Shannon tip the scale to excellence with his service. This place will be seeing me again. And Grandma apple pie and ice cream is the icing on the cake delicious.

My friends and family have raved about Medium Rare. I love the concept of a pre fixe menu featuring plenty of beef. I really wanted to love this place, but while the service was top notch, the food fell short of my expectations. The salad was nothing special, and the fries were overcooked. Portions were generous, but the quality of beef was mediocre. Perhaps I went on an off night? I’d like to think so, but I’m not very motivated to give them another try.

The steak, sauce, salad, and mushroom were tasty. However, the bread and fries were bland, nothing special about them. I tried the apple pie with ice cream, the pie’s crust was thick made it taste weird. One thing I didn’t like about the service, I was served room temperature water, not sure why in this heat.
