Food was great and sevice was exceptionally accommodating! We love established places in these small Texas towns. The only exception here was that their interior decor and ambiance seems a bit tires. Could definitely use some sprucing up and better lighting or light bulb replacement. Highly recommend Medina’s for the amazing migas!

My husband and I drove a few extra miles for a good Mexican meal and we found it! It was about 7 pm and there were plenty of patrons but it wasn’t packed. “Seat yourself” the sign said and we took the last booth. Quickly we were served with drinks, menus, and chips. The salsa is perfect. Not too hot, not real chunky either. That is a personal preference. I had not looked at menu and knee what I wanted but forgot the name and our server said she knew exactly what I wanted. We did not wait long for our plates. The tacos al carbon were seasoned perfectly. Serving size for both plates, generous. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, is clean, and made for a pleasant and casual date with my husband. Our server was a delight. We will return.

Stopped in for an early lunch. The people were amazing and friendly. The food was absolutely wonderful. I had a Carne Fajita Bowl and asked if they could add in a Serrano. It wasn’t just put on the side or sliced raw and thrown on top but sliced and grilled to perfection with the rest of the meal allowing the pepper to infuse its flavor with the food. It will definitely be added to one of my favorite places to eat.

We drive through occasionally to go Durant from Denton and seen this place and stopped for lunch. I am very picky on the rice and beans so kinda skeptical but we tried the street tacos lunch plate and it was so good!! We will definitely stop by again-and the sweet tea was great!! We didn’t eat inside but it looked clean and roomy!

We’ve been wanting to try Medina’s for sometime now and finally did recently. We weren’t disappointed with the meal. We had a fajita enchilada dinner plate and shrimp ala diabla plate. The chips and salsa are good too and the sweet tea is excellent. We plan to come back for breakfast one day soon and will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

I cannot reply to reviews but I do want to reply to the review below from Brittany Morgan. I’m sorry you didn’t get quick service. You did reserve a party but never stated how many people were coming. You walked in and even said you weren’t sure how many were in your party. We still sat you down and decided to serve you. Also, when the server would bring your plates out, half of your party was outside and the plates had to be returned to the kitchen because no one was there to accept it. We don’t want any of our customers to get cold food so our servers are trained to take it back to put it under the plate warmer. We have never had a problem with any parties because everyone is always at their table. We never get any complaints from our customers with huge parties because they understand that we do get busy, especially on a Friday night. I’m sorry you were not happy, but you and your party did not have to be rude to our staff.
