I absolutely love this place. You can eat in or take home. They have amazing empanadas and the aji is perfect! They have fruit juices (maracuya, guanabana, mora) they also have breakfast sandwiches, huevo perico, and arepas con queso. They have baked goods which they make fresh all day! The ladies and baker are all so sweet and attentive. My family and i enjoy going there on weekends.

We are from Miami and our most of our friends are Colombians. This place has the best pan de bono in Tampa Bay and probably all of Tampa, if not all of central Florida.
The prices are straight from the late 80’s. This is part of the bakeries je ne sais quoi as the flavors are bold and opinionated but prices are very humble.
The coffee is solid, too. They have a great machine behind the bakery glass that’s properly operated and makes really, really good espresso that makes even better cafe con leche.
We are here at least once a week, primarily on weekends… the kids love the bread and the empanadas that come with picante. They have a strong picante game.

So many delicioud options, great for breakfast. Beef and potato empanadas are very good as well as the guava and cheese empanadas and the pastert with ham and cheese. Most items are $1 to $1.50

Mom and pop type place. Great food at ridiculously low prices. A real find with super nice staff. Simple, unpretentious place with delicious food that puts fancier places to shame.

I love Medellin. I really only go there to get the pan de bono and café con leche. This is the first place that I have tasted pan de bono. It is a sort of Colombian bread. It is slightly sweet and has cheese baked right into it. I like to get these early in the morning when they are fresh out of the oven. Usually none of these make it past the car ride. I have tried a sandwich there and and empanada and they are ok, but the real reason to visit Medellin is the pan de bono.

Pan de Bonos are great and the pan con queso are baked fresh. Don’t really like their empanadas. Way too much potatoes in them.
