Authentic delicious flavoursome Malaysian dishes. Small but diverse menu and variety of spice levels. All dishes are very nice, have to try the dessert, light refreshing and sweet. It was an extremely pleasant experience with incredibly friendly attentive and welcoming team. Large portions, amazing value! Good location near tube station and would definitely come back again! I wanted to try this place for so long and would love to try more dishes.

Med Salleh Kopitiam is the spot to hit when you’re in London and craving proper spicy Southeast Asian comfort food.
This place delivers all the classics you miss when you’re far from home — mee goreng, nasi lemak, laksa, and other kopitiam staples that are bold, fragrant, and unapologetically punchy. The flavours lean authentic rather than toned down, which is a big win if you like real heat and depth.
It’s casual, no-frills, and exactly what you want when the craving hits: food that’s satisfying, familiar, and full of spice. Perfect for a quick meal or when London weather has you yearning for something warm and comforting.
If you’re looking for real Southeast Asian flavours in London, this one absolutely hits the spot. ️

This is a lovely place and was full over lunch with Malaysians mostly, always a good sign. Service is efficient and friendly, prices reasonable and food tasty. Lovers of Singapore laksa will be disappointed though, this is Malaysian laksa with less coconut in the broth. The other ingredients were good and fresh though. The roti canai was crunchy and tasty.

A lovely find which is modern traditional trendy Asian streetfood decor. The tables are quite close together but you wouldnt notice as you focus decor instead. We had the JC room (Jimmy Choo) where there are pics of Jimmy Choo and owners of resto. Their furnishing is traditional Asian. The food is authentic Malaysian. We had Chicken satay, roti canai and chicken wings as starters. All were very good. For mains, we had hainan chicken, beef redang and char kway teow. Giving 4 for food as the taste was 100%. Unfort, the chicken was a bit dry and so was the beef redang. That said, I would go back and have the same or try more dishes as the flavour was 100%. Service was amazing. The joint is very busy but the staff were super hard working and friendly. It was a lovely meal.

Great place for Malaysian food, especially their seasonal Nasi Kandar was gorgeous. The restaurant also didn’t cut corner with rice, ensuring that their rice is all dente and yummy. The ais cendol is the best I ever had in London tbh. Hats off to the service staff as well, who are courteous and proud of the food served. Highly recommended and Indonesian approved!!

Came here for the second time last weekend and the food was amazing as expected. All dishes we ordered were served in good portion and very rich in flavors. We found both the grilled mackerel with rice and Nasi Lemak to be satisfying. The satay chicken skewers went really well with the satay sauce on the side. The oysters pancake was crispy on the outside and filled with fatty oysters (although one or two pieces of oysters in it tasted a bit oceanic ). The durian shaved ice was certainly lovely and refreshing after a healthy meal – highly recommended!

After walking pass this place for many years, we decided to finally stop by try out their menu. The interior was inviting and the staff were attentive and menu was comprehensive. We sat down and look at the menu. Some great dishes on offer, we order one of their specials, chicken satay, and noodles dishes and some local drinks. The order came out promptly, the chicken satay was meaty and tasty and was chargrilled. The special was fine and the noodle dish was a bit of a disaster, in my opinion. The dish was a classic, but you could see it was a bit rushed and the sauce was inconsistent through out the dish. We finished up and left..did we feel satisfied.. hmm not really, would it warrant a return visit.. maybe not. By the time we got home, I personally was feeling a bit unwell with an upset stomach. If you are in the area and fancy some Malaysia cuisine then please drop by and give it try. Dont let our experience stop you from checking this place out.

The food is overall taste very good. I’ve ordered the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken and my friend ordered the laksa curry. Laksa wasn’t usually my thing but their laksa isn’t too oily. The taste of soup is pretty amazing.
Also, the seating area is big so it’s suitable for a group gathering too.
Only the icy dessert (idk the name) taste a little bit disappointing, totally not ready for this.

Food here was great! Felt like I was in Kuala Lumpur all over again. Definitely get the char kway teow! It had a delicious smoky flavor that tasted like it was made in the streets of Malaysia. The nasi lemak with the beef rendang was so good and filling as well. Flavor was good and spice was just right. I normally prefer my beef rendang spicier but I understand if they tailored the spice level a little bit. The squid was so soft and tender as well and it came with a very good sambal and spicy vinegar sauce. Overall, we’re definitely coming back for sure!
