I love this place. My one complaint is when i order online they dont really follow your instruction or request. Thats never the case and i order in person. First mistake i ordered thru Toast local for pickup is i want cosmo style but what i picked was not prepare cosmostyle so sandwich was cold. Second online order just yesterday i ordered cosmo, with dijon mustard, no onions…they did prepare it cosmo style but no dijon mustard and has a bunch of onions. Why make those options available for online orders when it seems like they dont really pay attention to the actual order

Hi I’ve been eating at Maconi’s Lacey branch for 35 years. The subs were delicious and fresh. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak February 8 the bread was hard, not very much beef very subpar for this establishment. I hope your quality is not going downhill? Thank You

I used to love it here but they stopped carrying gluten free bread. (Some of us aren’t quite celiac but need gluten free options.) It’s not fair to get rid if it because of cross contamination risk… Not everyone is the same and we relied on this for a safe option.

Very high quality subs. One ‘whole’ sandwich can last for several meals, based on the generous size. Price seems steep until the portion is realized. Very soft bread rolls.

Wow!! We just had the rudest most unfriendly interaction at this place that we have encountered in a very long time! Not sure if the woman that took our order had her hair pulled too tight or what! No smile, no response to our “hello”, just a glare. The snit that brought our food out barely came out of the kitchen, yelled our name twice and before we could even respond whirled around and took our food back into the kitchen. When I got her attention she carried our food out and dropped it on the table with not so much as a smile!! Now mind you, they are not at all busy!! We will never be back here again! There are a lot of choices for dining in this town and after this treatment we will go elsewhere.

If you’re looking for a basic, lackluster sub, this is the place. I ordered a half BLT and received 2 slices of tomatoes paper thing, wilted lettuce, and 3 slices of bacon. The sandwich was disproportionate, half the bites were tomato and lettuce, the other bites were lettuce and bacon with very little mayo. I’ve tried this place a handful of times over the past 10 years and it has never been satisfying. With 4.7 stars, I’ve never had that kind of experience that others apparently have. 2 stars at best for me.

I like the subs but the last few times I went, they barely put anything on the sandwich. It was more bread than anything.

Ah, Meconi’s Italian Subs – a true gem of a lunch spot! Nestled in the heart of town, it’s always bustling with locals eager to get their hands on a delicious, freshly-made sandwich.

As for myself, I’m a huge fan of the Cosmo Style sub. Toasted to perfection, with just the right amount of crunch, it’s a real treat for the taste buds. The combination of meats, cheese, and veggies is a true symphony of flavors, and it’s clear that the folks at Meconi’s take great care in selecting only the freshest ingredients.

So, if you’re in the mood for a delicious, toasted sandwich, Meconi’s Italian Subs is the place to be. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Very spacious dining area, lots of parking, and clean. We ordered the Italian sub and was really good.
Soft bread, great place to come if you have braces, I remember I wouldn’t eat subs cause the bread was usually hard and would hurt to eat.
