Finally, I don’t have to go into the city for decent Ethiopian food! I love Meazash. The interactive bread was fresh and soft and just the right amount of sour. The stews were seasoned well and tasty. The veggies tasted freshly cooked.
My only critique is the menu is a bit limited and they need a storefront/sit down area…but I’m ordering again tonight…it’s that good.

Great Ethiopian!!!
Used to frequent Awash in Manhattan. The food is equally as delicious and the portion sizes are larger. Usually we would have no left overs. But we have enough for a lunch. Each component of the vegetable combo and the sides for the doro wot is 5.5oz. In comparison, the other restaurant would put everything in a square to-go box with 1/2 of the amount.
No need to go to the city for great Ethiopian food. So glad they are open. And will now join our rotation of places to eat.
Forgot pics because we ate so fast because it smelled and tasted so good.
And the chef and family are lovely people.

So excited to have an Ethiopian restaurant in the area! Great food, lovely owners. I was skeptical because it’s new and there’s so many mediocre-minus restaurants around here, but this is definitely not one of those. I hope they make it work and stick around!
If you’re picking up it’s a bit hard to find (new so no sign yet), it’s located in the left side of the building, through the wide doors.

Incredible Ethiopian/Eritrean food! We got the vegan combo and sambusas. All the dishes were delicious, the sambusas disappeared immediately, and the injera was fresh and perfect. The combo included both classics (misir wot, gomen) as well as a few dishes that were new to me at least (mushroom wot and a beet and potato dish).
Meazash Cuisine is working out of a cool commercial kitchen so there’s no sit-down space, but the kind and wonderful chefs welcomed my husband and I just walking in to order (most people order online). We’re excited to order again and explore more of the menu!

Meazash is a great new Ethiopian restaurant with friendly staff and prompt service – my takeout order was ready in about 20 minutes. I ordered the meat and vege meal and highly recommend the doro wot, which was better than any of the other restaurants in the area.

Ordered the Doro Tibs and the Siba Tibs, as well as the Engudai, Fossolia, Misir, and Keysir sides. The Siba Tibs had an excellent flavor and a good spice that I would definitely order again. The Misir was equally delicious and I would recommend it. Their injera seemed good but I’ve only one other experience with injera to compare it to. I have no real complaints and would order from here again. The quality and the quantity of the food, I would argue, for the price we paid was absolutely worth it.
Also the owners are two absolutely delightful people.

Finally!!!! Ethiopian in Englewood! We have wanted Ethio food nearby for ages. Tried the limited menu tonight and everything was perfect including having great Injera! They assured me that more items will be added as they get up and running. Entrance is off of Linden.
