If anyone doesn’t know me by my reviews, I am a foody. I go anywhere from Alinea (one of the world’s best) to Poochies hot dogs in Skokie. If I could give a restaurant more than 5 stars I definitely would do it here. To begin with the food is excellent and the portions are extremely generous- huge enough for 2-3 people depending on what you order. The menu is extensive and a person would always find something to eat-even picky eaters. This is the only place that I know, with the exception of one very known restaurant on the south side of Chicago, that serves a fried steak sandwich, which is absolutely delicious. For those that don’t know what it is it’s a pounded thin breaded steak and then fried topped with marinara sauce and cheese and Giardiniera if you desire and served on a roll. The sandwich is huge, delicious and messy. I like extra giardiniera on mine and when I went back to the counter a few days ago to ask for a little more, the first thing they said was do you want 1 or 2 containers and not how much extra money it would cost, and they were so nice about it. You can order it or other sandwiches as a combo and get to choose from different potato sides hence the name. I love the seasoned curly fries which and my friend ordered a perfectly cooked regular side of fries. I have never, ever seen so many fries and curly fries in 1 order and they were remarkable.
Every time I go the staff and especially the counter ones are exceptionally friendly. One time I went they suggested a combo which was a money saver and they are extremely patient when someone is thinking what to order. When I was there a few days ago there was an elderly woman there with a cane trying to leave the restaurant. It was windy outside and the door was a little hard to open. When the counter person saw this he immediately ran around the counter to a door leading to the outside of the restaurant and opened the door for her from the outside. Talk about being nice and devotion to the customers. For me it’s the little things that count like this.
Even though most people never notice this, they play a fantastic radio station with great rock from the late 60’s to 70’s. Lastly, parking is easy and plentiful which I always like.
If the owners are reading this the only thing I wish they could do different would be to have any outside eating area, if it’s possible. I could go on and on , but I won’t for brevity’s sake.

We came here on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. It was quiet, but it was our first time and it was a great experience! The food here is very good and there were so many things I wish I tried, so I will definitely come back! I went with the burger today. The staff were super friendly and it was sort of like a great mix of fast food and sit down restaurant experience combined. They had live TV and casino games to play too! (Written 12-23-25)

I’ve ordered delivery a few times. Today I stopped in and ate. I ordered the Hangover bowl and fried pickles. The food was great. There was a table of 2 ladies and 4 kids. The kids were screaming and running back and forth to the bathroom and going in the slots room. The adults said nothing and let it happen. Luckily they left shortly after I arrived. Other than that, everything was good.

Food is very good. Preparation of food is not very well. Ordered 2 separate occasions and both orders were wrong. Specified what not to add to the meals and they were added anyways.

Probably the worst example of a gyros I have ever received from a restaurant. Meat was thick chunks of cubes. Then the sauce was just heavily scooped on top. This gyros was completely inedible and met the trash can. Called the restaurant to voice my displeasure and I was offered a replacement, which was nice. I did tell them I will pass as I don’t trust food after a complaint.

Better than fast food. Good quality, rib dinner and family of 4 for 50 bucks. Fry portion was decent. Music playing hip place. I will return to try other menu items. Vegetarian option for my little nacho! Win.

Today was our first time here. Cute place. Many choices on the menu and also have dailly specials. Food we had was fresh and delicious ( I had grilled chicken sandwich and my friend had a BLT sandwich, sweet potato fries…a healthy portion…and lentil soup)
We were there before lunch. It was quiet; within a half an hour, it was full; but not loud. Friendly service, clean bathrooms, a gaming section that is set behind saloon-type swinging doors. I will be going back when in the area
