Coming from the East Coast, where there aren’t any Korean BBQ restaurants near me, this was actually my very first experience trying it, and I have to say, Meat Love Korean BBQ set the bar really high. The all-you-can-eat option was fantastic, with fresh, flavorful cuts of meat that kept coming without long waits. What really impressed me was how attentive the staff were, stopping by often to swap out the grill top with a clean one. That small detail made a big difference, keeping the food tasting great without all the smoke and char building up.

The atmosphere was just as memorable as the food. The restaurant has a lively and welcoming vibe, and I especially loved the big marker board up front filled with doodles and notes from other customers. It gave the place a really fun, personal feel and showed how much people enjoy coming here. For a first-time Korean BBQ experience, this couldn’t have been better. Fresh food, great service, and a unique atmosphere made it a dining experience I’ll definitely remember.

Meats and side dishes were pretty good. Their salads were not as good as some other kbbq place. Their garlic pork belly was one of the best I’ve tasted and the prime brisket was one of the best I’ve tasted as well. Overall a good ayce kbbq if you are in the area.

Bulgolgi was excellent but, this is an all you can eat spot so all the meat that isn’t marinated is frozen. This is a good place for a group of 4-5 friends, we tried to fit 6 around one of the round tables and we were pretty cramped. They only had one sixtop available when we went and nobody was even sitting there. This place used to be good, but service was kinda poor, forgot to bring us drinks we ordered, didn’t refill water, didn’t bring more sauces or sides. I shouldn’t have to ask you for everything. If your menu is complaining about the wage you have to pay someone it’s just a bad sign. mandatory 15% gratuity applied to the bill is just wild. Just charge what you need to in order to pay your wages.

I’ve been looking for pet friendly KBBQ and finally found this place. We had early dinner here yesterday. Everything went well, the quality + quantity of meats were good and generous. Service was pretty attentive and fast. Probably you should arrive earlier since it will get busy during dinner. BTW if you can’t find parking spot, they have valet parking service for $3. The fact that they welcome dog, I would definitely come here again in the future.

Meat Love is a really solid Korean BBQ restaurant here in LA. I will first mention why only 4 stars.

First, seating is only outside in a tent. This is not good for a variety of reasons. The grill is elevated on a small burner on the side of the round table. This makes it hard to access, but what is worse is that the splattering oil will hit you and burn due to the height elevation and wind.

Second, staff aren’t as attentive as I would prefer. You have to really hunt them down to order more meats or side dishes.

Third, they intentionally give you a ton of the meats you order up front, causing you to get full fast and not get to try other meats.

The good parts about this restaurant is that the meats are delicious and fresh.

The best meats of the night were the beef brisket and smoky beef belly. These super thin cut meats had so much flavor and melted in your mouth.

The pork belly was ok. Definitely chewy and
Not that fatty. It was fine but nothing like I have had elsewhere.

The marinated pork ribs were pretty good. Tons of flavor, but the quantity was too much for one order.

They had good side dishes of rice, radish wraps, spicy cucumber, macaroni salad, bean sprouts, and fish cakes. These were all delicious and bountiful.

They brought out some fermented radish, but this was so fermented that it began tasting like wine which was not good.

Sauces included a standard sweet soy sauce, a spicy sambal, and the coveted salt and sesame oil.

Overall, we all had a good experience, and at a price of just $24, it’s a great value. They DO include 15% tip when they bring out the bill, so be aware!

I’m glad they took down the tent in the parking lot and is back to being inside the restaurant. This was our 2nd time coming here. You write your name and party size on a clipboard at the front. We waited about 30/40 mins on a Saturday night. The restaurant is decent sized and has plenty of tables/searing. Service is quick, you can let them know which items you want more of. We liked the brisket, bulgogi and kimchi rice lunch box. The side dishes were good too. The price is also good. FYI, they also include 15% gratitude to your bill. We found street parking around the corner.

First off I’m shook, that anyone that has reviewed this place had the audacity to give it 5-Stars, the experience was horrible. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was awful. The servers were unfriendly and seemed disinterested in providing a welcoming atmosphere which set the negative tone for our meal.

To make matters worse, I noticed the restaurant had received a B rating from the health department, which made me nervous from the start. This feeling was only amplified when we were served a veggie kabob that had visible mold on it (image attached) When we pointed it out, there was no apology or explanation from the staff – they simply took it away with no real sense of concern or accountability. And BTW!! **Gratuity is already included on your bill**

All in all, this experience left much to be desired. Between the lack of customer service, questionable health practices, and subpar food quality, I won’t be returning or recommending this place to anyone. If you’re looking for a satisfying Korean barbecue experience, there are definitely better options out there, this is LA.

This place is the best Korean BBQ place I have been. Valet parking is very affordable. The wait time can be intimidating, but that’s just because they’re really popular. Even the sides are delicious, all on their own. Frequent grill changes, fast delivery of very fresh meats, and the ventilation system keeps the smoke to a very minimum. I will definitely be back.

This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in a while.

Your paying a great price for the portions of food they serve to you, and the fact that your actually cooking your own food is definitely a bonus.

Our server was really Awsome!

We will return soon and thanks again for being so welcoming

Best Korean BBQ I’ve been to in LA.
Prices are fair and food is amazing.
Christine was really great and provided excellent service.
The marinated beef rib is tender and delicious. Also the shrimps are really good and the vegetable skewer for some good vitamins.

Great job guys!
