We went here for my birthday and loved it! I got the Happy Camper and it was delicious. My mom got the Silly Monkey, which she liked a lot but had to bring the muffin topping home bc there was so much. They are large and a bit messy milkshakes. The amount of a single scoop of ice cream is a tad small for the price in my opinion. The milkshakes are definitely worth it though. I’m looking forward to when they get into their permanent spot and have the mugshots available. The staff were all so friendly, too. Will definitely be coming back!

Got here just as 810 opened.
Very interesting lineup of milkshake options.
My wife got the Realist and I had the Silly Monkey.
Both came in nice glass mugs.
My Monkey was delicious. Even the banana nut muffin was good.
It is also nice that they come with wide straws.
The staff was quick and friendly, though we were the only ones there since it was early.
From what I’ve seen the line can get fairly long in the evenings – but worth the wait.

Absolutely the best shakes we have had.. staff was great to top it all off. I tried all of these and it was a toss up between the banana pudding or peach as the best but was so so good all the way around.. 6 for 6 in my book. Great job!

We stopped in at about 9pm while driving around on 17 looking for something sweet. We ordered the Bigshot as a Sunday and The Optimist as a shake. We liked that you could get your order as a shake or Sunday. Both were good. Service was great. It was the one woman show that night. She took our orders and got them out as quick as she could. As we were eating there was a rush of about 10 people and she did the best she could. Not sure what happened that there was only one person working the shop. The manager or owner should have stepped up to help out. Anyway it’s worth stopping in if your in the area.

My family had a blast bowling at 810, the milkshake place is an underrated gem. The bartender Nat saved me and my wife a ton of time by telling us we could order ice cream at the bar with our drinks helping us avoid missing any of the Steelers game we came to watch last night.

This place is overpriced and disgusting. I had to ask the male behind the counter to please change his gloves as they were covered in an orange substance. There was way too much milk added so mine was soupy. Ice cream did not have a good flavor. Cup was sloppily put together. Asked for no whipped cream, and it was added so he scooped part out. The candy was thrown in and sank to the bottom. Once I picked up the cup, everything was pouring out and all over me because of how liquidity it was. I took a few sips and threw away the whole thing. The counters were not cleaned and that’s where he set all the candy pieces. For being so expensive, this was a complete waste of money. The male ended up going to the front end of the bowling alley with another male and left the ice cream part unattended. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

i’m like a month late in writing this but i just needed to rave about my experience on 08/02/23. this place was phenomenal, both in terms of the actual milkshake and customer service. i got the realist and it was the milkshake of my dreams. i assumed this is the kind of place you only go once for the novelty and the photo opportunities but i was wrong: this was the kind of place i would return to over and over. it’s probably better for my health that i don’t live near it. i also got the chance to try a brownie ice cream they were experimenting with using and it was delicious. they didn’t advertise any dairy free options online but we asked about it and we were pleasantly surprised to find they offer some — although i got mine full of dairy because yum. i was helped by kennedy and coco and they were so delightful that they made my day; whatever they are being paid, it should be quadrupled for their amazing service and demeanor. highly recommend anybody and everybody go to mean mug and i hope they will all enjoy it as much as i did.

We had The Realist and The Optimist. So sweet, so fun and sooo good. The staff was friendly, helpful and fun to chat with. We even stayed for a few rounds of bowling. Thanks Mean Mugs for a great experience.

I really think this is a wonderful idea. We had visited the other milkshake place formally located in the same spot similar idea but as an adult it’s nice that we can add a little something if we do drink alcohol and still have the sweetness to go with it.

Omg is all I can say it’s not just your average Ice cream/restaurant it’s an unbelievable experience there milkshakes/Sundaes are like a small meal lol it was soooo good it’s hard to even explain there’s a good menu with bar type food like Wings, salads, burgers, pizza and more
They even have a bowling alley 2 full bars and tons of TV’s oh I almost forgot 3D mini golf and an arcade such a great place to bring your family you definitely won’t be disappointed I highly highly recommend checking them out
