I ordered from Mean Mug on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe through DoorDash and was so impressed! I had the spinach and provolone quiche with a side of fruit and it was absolutely amazing. The quiche was fluffy and flavorful, and the fruit was super fresh — such a nice touch. I also grabbed one of their famous cinnamon rolls, which I’m saving for later, but it looks incredible.
This place really goes above and beyond for quality and flavor. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch option in the area, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I ordered sliced avocado on the side of my quiche. Pictured is what I was served. When I complained to the staff, they said that others have complained about this as well, but the owner/manager said it was the nature of the avocado and to serve it anyway. While I understand that wasting food is not good, serving avocado with multiple black spots is unappetizing and unnecessary. The black bits could be snipped off and put in a compost container for other sustainable uses. All fruits and vegetables become overripe in time. This does not mean that customers should be served unsightly perishing food. Clearly, the manager is not concerned about the sentiments of his customers. I stopped ordering the side salad for the same reason. Don’t eat here.

Great Avocado Toast & Biscuits. Bacon good, but small portion with the Breakfast Plate. Home fries was good too. Scrambled Eggs undercooked and runny.

I had a late breakfast here recently. It was my first visit. The cashier and staff in general were very friendly. I felt my business was appreciated. My order was processed and brought to the table shortly thereafter. The “World Famous Breakfast Biscuit” was very filling. I had a large regular coffee as my beverage. I meant to ask if they offered refills on house roasted drip coffee. Would anyone happen to know? Overall, it was a very nice experience.

The peanut butter toast is beautiful and the parfait was great, the breakfast hash was actually laughable for $9. (There was a hard boiled egg but I dropped it. Will I come back. Yes but not for the hash.

First time here and really impressed that they have a drive through, very convenient. The cinnamon rolls are huge and worth your buck. Mocha latte delicious and $4 for a regular. I’d go here again and doesn’t hit the bank.

Tried the quiche and an americano this morning on our first visit in-store at this location. Disappointed to say the least.
We not agreed the quiche was less thannluke warm and felt like it as microwaved (mushy) and the flavor was not great.
I never received my coffee so after they asked if everything was OK whennthry dropped off the food I meantion still no coffee, they gave out a lot more coffees and eventually remembered me and asked again, at which time we had finished eating so I asked for and received a refund.
There was also no room to really site inside…
Shame we were excited about this place…

The atmosphere was great my barista Rachel did an excellent job and was extremely friendly and whoever made the cinnamon rolls really deserves a raise. I drove all the way from Alabama just to get the cinnamon rolls. I love mean mugs. It’s such a great establishment and well priced with friendly staff

This is my favorite coffeehouse in the local area. Possibly anywhere. The coffee tastes wonderful EVERY TIME. The baristas are always cheerful and bright. They make a bleak morning more tolerable. And the interior design of the store is so cozy, you might fall asleep on the future if not for the coffee. It really is a great stop for a morning “cuppa joe”.
