5th time coming here, first two times I had nice waitress who got our order good and food was good. Lately I been having the same waitress who is an old lady. The first time we had her she couldn’t hear, I repeated my order plenty times and asked for strawberries and banana on my French toast and she didn’t bring any of that on my French toast. I didn’t bother complaining. I didn’t finish my food and she asked what’s wrong… seemed like she did it on purpose. Every-time she is taking our order she interrupts us no wonder she can’t hear or get the order right. Today I ordered a omelette and I asked for a side order of home fries. She interrupted me halfway saying that it comes with home fries already. Clearly I knew that already, if I asked for a side of home fries just bring it. The size portions are different which is why I wanted a SIDE ORDER of homes fries. I took the home fries that came with the omelette which didn’t fill me up. Left hungry. On top of that my friends food came with egg Shells.

We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately. The service was attentive despite the diner being quite busy, and the food was excellent.

I had the French onion soup and the roast beef on a pretzel roll with fries. The soup was hearty with a rich flavor, and the roast beef was well-cooked, making for a delicious sandwich. My wife ordered the open-faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and stuffing, which she also found very good. The portions were generous. The bread was also very good!

For dessert, we shared a piece of Coconut Lemon cake—large, moist, and absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere is classic New Jersey diner: traditional, welcoming, and bustling. Overall, a great experience with excellent food, large portions, and friendly service.

My first visit to the Meadows Diner. It was definitely worth the trip. I had breakfast for dinner and the omelet and homefries were delicious. My server was excellent. Always made sure my coffee cup was full and constantly checked in on me throughout my meal. This will definitely be a regular stop when I’m in town.

Meadows is THE diner for me and my boyfriend. His family has been coming here for years and when the walk in Pauline is always so warm and welcomes us all by name. Don’t be scared when you see a line because they move quick. You can’t go wrong with eggs, turkey sausage and toast. I recommend asking for the home fries well done to get more of that crispy vibe. Also, they always have a breakfast special featured, don’t sleep on those. When they have the Italian eggs benedict give it a try. Love you Meadows!

Just had brunch at Meadows Diner. Overall, the food was solid—nothing amazing, nothing terrible, just a dependable diner experience.
I ordered the Meadows Breakfast. The pancakes, bacon, and sausage were right on par with what you’d expect. The French toast, though, fell flat—slightly bland, I’d give it a 4.5/10.
My girlfriend went with the chicken club, which was tasty overall, though she pointed out it could’ve been stacked better (bread–chicken–bread–chicken–bread, instead of just one thick cut of chicken). Still, the portion was decent and the flavor was solid. The onion rings were also a nice side—crispy and enjoyable.
All in all, Meadows Diner is exactly what you want from a neighborhood diner: consistent, straightforward, and respectable, even if nothing really stands out as exceptional. I’d rate the overall experience a 5.8/10.

Side note: The syrup at Meadows Diner could definitely use an upgrade. It was thin, watery, and lacking in flavor—almost like a sugar-free or low-calorie version. A richer, more traditional syrup would really elevate the breakfast experience.

We had lunch at this place, and the food was just okay not particularly memorable to me, but the experience was made much better by the very attentive and friendly staff. On the other hand, the décor has a unique and quirky charm that gives the place character, and the prices are reasonable, making it a decent stop if you’re in the area and looking for a casual bite.

Good evening Google Family. I visited for the first time after an incredible workout at the Edge Fitness Club. I went to the Autosheen Car Wash first then it was en route to the Meadows Diner. The diner looks great on the outside, a beautiful design and it looks equally as good on the inside. I was seated in a two person booth which I like. I was given the breakfast menu and I ordered pumpkin pancakes, silver dollar, with a side of home fries. Before that, I ordered a hot chocolate without the whipped cream. I notice every restaurant you go to, you have to say, no whipped cream, because they all will give you the whipped cream, unless you say no, which I do. I asked about the lemonade which was supposed to be hot, and the lady server was kind enough to let me try it. It was good just too too sweet!!! Mike was my server and he was kind and efficient. I was trying to share my workout pics with my supporters and my food was delivered quickly. I could not believe it!! I just sat down and placed my order. Soon after I placed my order, my food was ready!!! It was amazing!!! I ate what I could because they bring you too much food. There was no way that I could eat all of that food!!! I got a box and put my food in it. My total was $18.63. I paid by cash and gave Mike a tip. I visited the rest room. There were two stalls in there and there were paper towels. Some bathrooms have only the hand dryers. This one had both. I prefer paper towels, since I can dry my hands thoroughly. I will be back. I had a good experience here. My visit here was short and sweet. Workout, be healthy, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50.

I went here for the first time tonight. It was my husband birthday. The owner came over to the table and gave me a recommendation. It was pork rib eye. It was absolutely delicious. The place was very nice and the owner and waitress Sam were so friendly and nice. I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you me and my family had a great time. ❤️

Everything was great, especially the coffee. I would like to suggest using bacon or sausage grease to flavor up the biscuits and sausage gravy.

Waitress was terrible, Anne Marie stated not gonna get a summer body eating that. When i finished the food she said wow did you eat that quick enough. Not sure if she was trying to be funny but to me it was not a joke. Food took forever to come out. She took forever to give the bill. Ordered a French toast with bananas and Nutella the syrup tasted like water. Hardly any flavor the bananas held it together. Not only was the service poor but the food wasn’t the best for me either. I will not be coming back again.
