Did the omakase for our anniversary and it was awesome! Intimate setting, excellent service, food was incredible and prepped by the chef in front of you, and cocktails were super creative. Bonus points for the live music that was happening at the same time. We’ve been to Nodoguro and Nimblefish, this is on par, maybe even better. Easily one of the best tasting menus in Portland.

Did the omakase experience with Ocean, Jason, and crew. Service was attentive and kind. Left full and satisfied, fantastic cocktails, terrific quality to ingredients (I like eggplant, who knew!?), beautiful showmanship. Worth every penny and highly recommend.

While the atmosphere was warm and inviting, I had a near impossible time ordering a drink. After waiting over 15 minutes for a server to take my order, I asked the bartender if I needed to order from the bar – I was told someone would help at my table, however after another 15 minutes, I went back up to the bar and placed my order. I gave 3 stars because they were busy, but those at tables around me were being served. I was expecting better service from the Ritz-Carlton.

Can’t speak to the food, but while staying at the Ritz we tried out the Meadowrue bar on the ground floor and had a fine time. Whiskey prices were a bit high, but so are all the prices at a Ritz.

I can’t speak for the alcoholic drinks as I’ve only ordered snacks and tea, but both times there the waiters provided exceptional service. Very quick, kind, respectful, and concerned with providing good service. The space is very cozy and large.
