I have lived in the area for a number of years and never have been until I went for my birthday. The food was freshly prepared and rotated as necessary. I am picky over cafeteria style vegetables because sometimes in holding them in the pans, they can go out too al dente and be under seasoned. That was definitely not the case. The corn was some of the best ever. The cream potatoes were real creamy and not bland. The veggies were seasoned like my granny’s kitchen. The chicken was crispy skin and moist interior. The fat back was thick and definitely comforting. An extraordinary array of dessert and ice cream. The bars were well maintained. The building was full. The only down side was a little late in getting refills on my tea but the server was sweet and friendly.

The food taste homemade. The buffet is small but filled me up just fine. It has a salad bar including cole slaw and potato salad. The buffet had fried pork chop, fried chicken and fried trout. The green beans had that good southern flavour. The dessert bad had homemade cakes by the cake ladies and scoop your own ice-cream. I had the coconut cake and it melted in my mouth. We will be back soon!

This place is absolutely an awesome place to go out for a buffet, the food is excellent the kind of food your mother would make. The selection of food makes this restaurant an amazing value. The desserts are absolutely the best, the service as always is the best. We can hardly can’t wait to go back again!!!

Meadow Restaurant catered a Christmas luncheon for the senior group, Keenage Club, of Bethlehem Baptist Church Knightdale last week. The food was delicious, and I heard many compliments from the 50 guests. The gentleman who set up was efficient, knowledgeable and friendly (sorry I don’t have his name). Thank you for providing exactly what we had ordered in a timely manner and making sure we had a nice event. We highly recommend using Meadow Restaurant for your catering or for a dine-in meal.

You want a dinner buffet that hits your soul this is the place to go!! We are from Fort wayne IN and stopped here to eat on our way back home. The food was amazing and this was just lunch i can only imagine how dinner is! It was like being at your grandma’s or mommas house on the holidays! The service was spectacular. Such nice folks made you feel welcomed soon as you walked in the door and on your way out! I sure hope to pass by here again to try the dinner!

Job catered from this establishment last year. All I can say is there is a difference in soul country food and this country style food. Food was bland. Desserts were runny establish the chocolate pie and something that looked like banana pudding. It was too loose. Fat back was white not brown and crispy. Who puts hot dogs in baked beans? Just not a good overall flavor. It’s not Fuller’s, Grandson, Sandpaper, Westin Sizzler nor Golden Coral. True SOUL food you can not deny it; unfortunately they were not it.

Best restaurant has several buffets including a salad bar and a dessert bar and they all are fabulous variety of meats and vegetables. Advice to get there early because people start lining up when it’s close to the restaurant opening. I have such things as fish shrimp country style steak and others. They have an incredible number of vegetables to choose from, complimented byba salad bar.

The only complaint I have is my Wife and I live in Cary, NC and we have to drive 45 minutes to an hour to get here. But, absolutely worth the drive!!!

Omgosh!! This is by far the best southern buffet with made from scratch food and desserts that will have you coming back for more. This was my first time trying it out and I will definitely be trying it again. We went on a Sunday and you better get there before church let’s out bc it fills up quick.
